00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name's Theo Huston-Betts and today's video is all about some of the amazing events that we've got coming up in Manchester this week.
00:07There's lots to get through as always, so let's dive straight in.
00:11First off we're going to start with the Spaces Up Above exhibition which has opened at the Printworks this week.
00:16Famed light artist Rupert Newman has opened his first Manchester based exhibition with a digital ceiling at the Printworks that's lit up with his art.
00:24It runs all month and is sort of sea life and underwater themed with some great images of corals on there.
00:29As of this Friday the Red Rose Diner on the East Lanes Railway opens.
00:33It's a fine dining experience on a classic train and it's available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
00:38You get a glass of fizz on arrival and then a three hour dining experience on a ride through the Irwell Valley.
00:44It's a four course dinner followed by teas, coffees and chocolate, so get down, give it a try.
00:49Finally it's a big week for concerts this week.
00:51Two of the UK's biggest voices, Michael Ball and Alfie Bow, are at the AO Arena this Friday.
00:56Most of the songs will be from their new Together At Home album, but do expect some classic tracks and an evening of absolute belters.
01:03It's a busy week at the Co-op Live 2 with Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra appearing on the 3rd of April.
01:10The famed violinist is known for spectacularly energetic shows, so expect waltzes, show tunes, film scores and much, much more.
01:18From the violin to the boxing ring though and only two nights later at the same venue,
01:23Laurence Occoli and Richard Reakpool will be fighting in the heavyweight division at the Co-op Live.
01:28It'll be a grudge match for the ages and only a day later than that the arena will play host to the War of the Worlds,
01:33a musical version of the classic which uses holograms and other amazing technology to really bring the story up to date.
01:39That's all for now though. Follow Manchester World for more and we'll see you again next week.
