Liverpool’s start to the season was overshadowed by the fact that the boss pointed out there were no real tests for his side after a great start.

So how are the Red’s now progressing after passing a tough run of fixtures and still remaining at the peak of the Premier League standings.

00:00Looking at Liverpool, the key headline after almost 10 games in the Premier League season
00:07was that they hadn't really played anyone to get a real test of what Arnie Schlott's
00:13doing at the club. He said that himself and then a few games later they've had some real
00:18tests and they've been up to them as well. Are they proving the doubters wrong? They're
00:23looking like the business. Obviously Manchester City lose their unbeaten streak as well. Arsenal
00:30are sort of suffering. Liverpool just seem to be, yes they lost against Nottingham Forest
00:35at Anfield but other than that they've been pretty flawless so far in this Premier League
00:39campaign.
00:40Well that Nottingham Forest defeat isn't actually looking as bad as you might have thought it
00:45would at the time because Nottingham Forest, as we speak, are at the third in the table
00:49flying and Arnie Schlott I think is still a little bit ached by that. Given how dominant
00:54Liverpool were in that game against Forest, you have to take some positives from that
00:59given what's happened. But as you say, after the season restarted following the international
01:06break, this was a massive run of fixtures when you looked at it. The likes of Chelsea,
01:11Arsenal, RB Leipzig in the Champions League and Liverpool haven't lost a game. If only
01:17drops point against Arsenal which, okay Liverpool weren't exactly great but you're going away
01:24to a team that's finished runner-up in the past two seasons. It was always going to be
01:29difficult for Liverpool and they showed the grit and resilience that is required. Chelsea,
01:36they were very good for the most part but the Jackson goal, I can't really remember.
01:42Chelsea had an awful lot of chances. Brighton as well, we know that they're flying and Liverpool
01:48were pretty poor in the first half but you have to give a lot of compliments to Brighton.
01:51But again, Liverpool sorted themselves out at half-time and it almost felt like that
01:56was the day it was announced as Liverpool are managing. At the end, we were broke at
02:00scenes at Anfield and it almost got those fans trying to build up the clock, fist pumps
02:08but Arnold Sloth's piety declined. When you're getting that sort of reaction, that's when
02:16you know that you've sort of been welcomed in and all the doubts have maybe been proved
02:22wrong. As we speak, they've got Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, a massive game, these
02:27are German champions. Then Aspen Villa, a lot of Liverpool don't lose those two games
02:31then they're not going to lose many games at all this season are they? Because after
02:39the next break, okay, they've got Manchester City up pretty quickly but Liverpool could
02:44raffle up quite a few points from now between the festive periods and once it hits the halfway
02:50stage I think if Liverpool are banging the mix then I think you'd be disappointed if
02:55they don't go all the way and challenge for the title until the end of the season.
