00:00Hi, we're the team of Rima Bhangali Cuisine and we're really excited to announce that
00:20we won the Best Restaurant of the Year award from Curry Life Awards.
00:26We'd just like to really congratulate our customers for supporting us over the last three years
00:32and we didn't have a clue about them.
00:34How shocked were you when you found out that you'd won the award and how did it come about?
00:39Were you nominated by customers initially?
00:41Yes, so initially through Curry Life Awards magazine they informed us that we were selected
00:48as one of the best restaurants in the UK and for customers to encourage us to keep going
00:55and to give their opinions about how successful we did as a restaurant.
00:59So that encouraged us to win the Best Restaurant of the Year award.
01:04Amazing, and what's gone into the journey to get to this point?
01:07I know you started off as a taxi driver, then obviously decided to open a restaurant.
01:11Yes, this one is a little bit challenging because when I was in 2005 in this country,
01:17I think when I was working in a fast food restaurant, it was very enjoyable because
01:23we were working with lots of different restaurants.
01:26I think I make my own restaurant and I try to share my experience with customers
01:34and make good food for all of our customers.
01:37We're not selling alcohol because we want a free zone.
01:40We try to serve the best food for our customers.
01:45That's why in the last three years we are successful at this point because customers
01:49bring their own food and if they like, we try to serve the best food for them.
01:54That's why all of our customers come back again and again.
01:57Now I think 95% of our customers are regular.
02:01We are happy to say to all of our customers, thank you for supporting us.
02:06Thank you for supporting us and now we have been selected for the Culinary Award.
