01:03Currently, in order to continue paying users, UPI Lite has to manually recharge its wallet balance from its bank account.
01:12The target of National Payments Corporation of India, i.e. NPCI, is to organize this process, which will eliminate the need for manual recharge.
01:21In the notification of NPCI on 27 August 2024, UPI Lite auto-pay balance feature was also announced.
01:28So soon, you will be able to set the minimum balance on UPI Lite, and whenever your balance goes below this amount,
01:34then your UPI Lite wallet will be filled again with the tied amount from your linked bank account.
01:42The recharge amount will also be set by you, and the limit of this wallet cannot be more than Rs 2,000.
01:49UPI Lite account will have permission for 5 top-ups per day, and according to NPCI,
01:54UPI Lite users had to enable the auto-pay balance feature by 33 October 2024.
02:01After this, you will be able to use the auto-top-up feature on UPI Lite from today, i.e. 1 November.
02:08UPI Lite gives every user a discount of up to Rs 500, and along with this, a balance of up to Rs 2,000 can be kept in the UPI Lite wallet.
02:19The daily expense limit of UPI Lite wallet is Rs 4,000.
02:23And the Indian Reserve Bank has proposed to increase the maximum payment limit of UPI Lite from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000.
02:30Apart from this, UPI Lite wallet limit has also been increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000.
02:37So if you have enabled this feature on the UPI Lite app by 31 October 2024 to take advantage of this feature of UPI Lite according to the notification of NPCI,
