00:00Meanwhile, almost 300 Filipinos from Lebanon were rescued and returned home this weekend.

00:18The most batches of Filipino repatriates from Lebanon were rescued and returned home this weekend.
00:25In a statement by Radyo Pilipinas World Service, the Department of Migrant Workers or DMW Secretary Hans Layokakdak
00:33visited Bangkok, Thailand to refuel the airplane carried by Filipino repatriates.
00:41The Secret Service said that out of the total of 216, 234 OFWs are OFWs while the remaining are non-OFWs.
00:55Carrying 200 Filipinos, around 234 OFWs, and the rest are overseas Filipinos, non-OFWs.
01:05Meanwhile, Filipino repatriates from Lebanon received various assistance.
01:11This is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
01:16that DMW and other government agencies should mobilize resources and assets to help Filipino repatriates.
01:25These include cash assistance, medical assistance, training, and livelihood assistance.
01:32In DMW, 75,000 pesos each, so 150,000 pesos will be given to their financial assistance.
01:4120,000 pesos is from the DSWD.
01:44And the DOH, the Secretary-General is also ready to help the medical assistants in the immediate medical check-up.
01:53And then, I suggest that Director-General Tico Benitez has training vouchers that are free.
01:59Currently, 103 Filipinos have been allowed to return home from Lebanon, including 47 dependents.
