00:00The Department of Migrant Workers or DMW confirms overseas Filipino workers or OFWs from Lebanon
00:06are scheduled to return to the country over the weekend. The DMW reports 192 OFWs are expected
00:13to return before the month ends. Based on the agency's data, 11,000 Filipinos are in Lebanon,
00:20500 of which have submitted their voluntary repatriation application.
00:25Meanwhile, the DMW has also opened new migrant workers offices in Vienna,
00:30Austria and Budapest, Hungary to enhance support for OFWs in Central Europe. These offices aim
00:36to improve accessibility to services for thousands of OFWs in the region.
