Three men, including a Myanmar national, were brought before five Magistrates at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex on Friday (Oct 25) on charges of breaking into a grocery store and stealing vehicles between August and September.

00:18J Jagatesh Waran, aged 31, were sentenced to five months in prison after pleading guilty
00:24to breaking into a grocery store in Dangwangi and stealing its items on August 29.
00:30Before Magistrate M S Majeswari, Jagatesh Waran was imprisoned for one year from the
00:35date of arrest on September 28 after pleading guilty to stealing a van at a car repair shop
00:40parking lot in Cheras on September 21.
00:44The same magistrate also sentenced Gunasilan to eight months imprisonment from the date
00:49of arrest on September 26 after he admitted to concealing a van, stolen in Pandan Indah,
00:55Ampang on September 26.
00:58Before Magistrate Farah Nabiha Muhammadan, Gunasilan was imprisoned for eight months
01:03from the date of arrest on September 26 after pleading guilty to helping conceal three laptops
01:09stolen from the victim's phone repair shop on September 6.
01:13Meanwhile, before Magistrate Noralina Hanim Abd Halim, all three accused pleaded not guilty
01:19to charges of stealing a van at a shop in Brickfields on September 13.
01:24The court allowed Gunasilan and Jagatesh Waran to be released on bail of 3000 Ringgit each
01:29with one surety, while no bail was offered to Muhammad Lukman.
01:33January 15 next year was set for case mention.
01:37Before Magistrate Aina Azahra Arifin, Jagatesh Waran pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing
01:41a motorcycle at a premises in Brickfields on August 5.
01:45He was allowed bail of 5,600 Ringgit with one surety, while December 5 was set for case mention.
