00:18Edi Warman, aged 29, are accused of robbing a 49-year-old Russian national, causing losses
00:24amounting to 8,000 ringgit.
00:27The alleged incident occurred at Jalan Sejahtera, Wangsa Maju, at 6.15pm on December 12.
00:35For the second charge, they allegedly robbed a 25-year-old local man of 1,500 ringgit at
00:41Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur City Centre at 6.30am on December 14.
00:48The third charge involves the robbery of a Vietnamese man at Jalan Landak Pudu at 7.15am
00:53on December 14.
00:55The accused are said to have stolen a crossbody bag containing a US passport, US$380 or approximately
01:031,700 ringgit, and two mobile phones.
01:07All charges are framed under Section 395 of the Penal Code, which provides for up to
01:1120 years' imprisonment and caning upon conviction.
01:15The deputy public prosecutors opposed bail, citing the non-bailable nature of the offences
01:21and the accused's criminal records.
01:23Lawyers representing the accused appealed for bail, arguing that their clients have
01:28dependents to support.
01:30Judge Igusra Ali denied bail and set February 7 for mention.
