00:18The rain is not stopping the workers of the Department of Public Works and Highways in Mimaropa

00:24to clean and fix the affected roads in the region due to the storm Christine.

00:29This is also to ensure the safety of passengers in different provinces in the region.

00:34According to the latest report of the DPWH,

00:36the embankment is being built in the entire part of the road in Barangay Mabuhay Uno

00:41in the town of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro.

00:44According to the Philippine Information Agency Oriental Mindoro

00:48to DPWH Oriental Mindoro Maintenance Engineer Luis V. Beron,

00:52the embankment is being built as part of the Agara Aksyon

00:56of the agency so that the soil is not yet completely solid

01:00in the part of the road that was hit by continuous rain in the province in the past few days.

01:07The cleaning and clearing operation of the DPWH in Romblon is also ongoing.

01:11Some landslides in the islands of Romblon, Sibuyan, and Tablas have already been cleaned

01:17where, according to the latest announcement,

01:19it is possible to pass through the mentioned areas affected by the landslide.

01:23The DPWH also helped in the clearing operations of the waterways in Barangay Laon

01:28in the town of Mogpog, Marinduque

01:34According to DPWH Mimaropa Regional Director Ingeril Gerald A. Pakanan,

01:39717 agencies deployed in the areas that the agency needs

01:46through their Quick Response Assets.

01:49There are 584 equipment on standby and monitoring the roads and roads,

01:56particularly in the provinces of Romblon, Mindoro, and Marinduque

02:00that are currently affected by the landslide.

02:03Inger Pakanan assured that their Regional Emergency Operations Center
