00:00When you look at the next three weeks, what are your expectations for Matt Eberfloes?
00:04I know you've talked about the impact he can make on Sundays and how big
00:08this is for him to maybe keep some of the momentum going that he has
00:13kind of developed in the first six games. How big are these next three games for Flusi?
00:19Well, let's start here. Anybody wanting to send a thank you note to the league office
00:22for the way the schedule is set up? 345 Park Avenue in New York. That's where you'll send that
00:28because as much as we talk about how daunting the back end of the schedule is, the Bears have
00:33been given a really, really friendly on-ramp to going into that stretch of their schedule.
00:37And these next three weeks are part of that, David. You see three games that you could and
00:42should win, maybe favored in all of them. You have got an opportunity here, even if you just
00:46win two of them, to go six and three heading into that stretch of eight to finish. You'll feel
00:51really good. You'll feel like you have good momentum. Now, when it comes to Matt Eberfloes,
00:55you have to continue to get your team to rise to the occasion. One stat that we'll talk about a
00:59little bit this week is they're 3-16 on the road in the three seasons of the Matt Eberfloes-Ryan
01:05Poles era. That's got to get better. You've got to figure out a way to take care of your business
01:09on the road. You've got to take care of business when you're in close games. And we saw last year
01:14games that you should have won, three of them, with big blown leads down the stretch that cost
01:18you. You've got to make sure that you're handling your business the way you have the last three
01:22weeks against the Rams, Panthers, and Jaguars. And so I just want to see Matt continue to push
01:27things forward, to continue to be involved in the oversight and development at Caleb, and see that
01:32continue to progress. And really just continue to climb the staircase because the Bears have done a
01:36lot of really good things through the first six games of the season. And it's not a time right
01:40now in these next three to have any sort of unfortunate and surprising steps backwards.
