00:00So, well, Everton obviously coming on the back of another Premier League win. It's starting to look slightly better for them.
00:07It's an away win as well, which is, you know, you probably have to go quite far back to remember the last time they won away in the Premier League.
00:15How confident are Everton feeling that they are getting these wins over the line?
00:20And as we mentioned, their fixtures are still looking at quite a more winnable run coming up.
00:26Yeah, it does feel like a little bit of a corner has been turned. I think Sean Dyche has always felt the performances being good,
00:34but individual mistakes have been the downfall. But you're starting to see those qualities of a Sean Dyche team,
00:40you know, a side that is difficult to break down and one that does threaten, especially from set pieces.
00:47And that's where Michael Keane's goal came from at the weekend.
00:51And, you know, Ipswich, they haven't had a bad start, obviously, since they've come up and they make it difficult for teams.
00:57But Everton ultimately did a job on Ipswich, to be honest with you.
01:01You know, they got the two goals in Dyer with a good finish, capitalised on the mistake,
01:07and then a fantastic finish from Michael Keane in the second half.
01:12You know, it was Everton who probably had the better of a play for the most part.
01:16Ipswich ended the game on top, but you expect that. Jordan Pickford's maybe made one save from distance.
01:24Can't really remember him making another. It was Everton who were banging on the door.
01:29Yeah, it's four games unbeaten now and things are looking up for them, definitely.
01:38Got some winnable games coming up for them, obviously beating The Weeknd and then West Ham are under a little bit of pressure.
01:45And you've got Southampton as well, I think. So you also have those fixtures.
01:48You think, well, why can't Everton go and get nine points?
01:50And if Everton get nine points, they'll have, what, go up to 17 points, I think, something like that.
01:57And that's a good return for them, considering that they're open fixtures and what the aim is for this campaign.
02:04But, yeah, it feels like things are starting to click a little bit. Players starting to come back.
02:10Nathan Patterson and James Cormer are on the bench, but, you know, they were hit by illness as well.
02:14Jesper Lindstrom not in the squad even. And obviously, you know, Tamir Abudim and James Garner were absent.
02:21So it hasn't been exactly easy for Sean Dyche, so he deserves a lot of credit.
02:26And yet you start to see those hallmarks of a Sean Dyche team now.
02:32Yeah, obviously, star man Jared Brantway has only played one Premier League game this season.
02:37When he sort of does make his way back into the side, does Michael Keane keep his place?
02:42You know, he's starting to pick up a bit of form.
02:44And, you know, it becomes difficult when you do start to chop and change, especially when the side's picking up some good results.
02:51Yeah, it's a nice dilemma, if you say, for Sean Dyche to have.
02:58Because Michael Keane, look, he has us detractors. He's come in for flat, but he's remained a consummate professional.
03:06And he's got us rewards in the past couple of games.
03:09He was excellent against Newcastle in the 0-0 draw and again against Ipswich.
03:15And he's probably one of the best finishers at the club for being a centre half.
03:19What a finish he was at Portman Rolls.
03:23I don't think you can keep a player like Jared Brantway out of the team just because of how good he is.
03:29You know, this lad is going to go right to the very top.
03:32And yes, Everton have kept to a clean sheet in the past two games.
03:37And maybe they are getting a little bit of stability.
03:40But you want to play your best players at the end of the day.
03:42And you look at Everton's defensive record last season with Jared Brantway and James Tarkowski playing alongside each other.
03:50I think they had the fifth best defensive record, maybe the joint fourth.
03:54Something like that for a team who were in the bottom half of the table.
03:59That's a magnificent record to have.
04:01And look, I dare say that Michael Keane is braced to lose his place despite scoring and helping keep two clean sheets.
04:11But maybe if Brantway is out for another game or Tarkowski is out for another game,
04:17Everton fans won't have as much jeopardy.
04:20Because it's fair to say that there has been a little bit of nerves when he has played in games.
04:27But he has somewhat revised his Everton career.
04:30Now he's held some contracts at the end of the season.
04:32Will he be here at the end of the campaign?
04:35Probably looking unlikely, if I'm honest.
04:37I think he maybe will want to move on where he'll play regularly somewhere else.
04:42But he's won over some of his doubters, definitely.
04:47And you have to salute him because he has had a flack in the past.
04:52Always being professional and always giving 100% how to shadow a doubt.
04:58Battled through a few issues, fitness-wise as well.
05:03So yeah, you have to say fair play to him.
05:07If Jared Brantway is back fit, it's probably because he played against Ipswich, which just wasn't risky.
05:14I think we'll see him back in the team.
