00:00The president's job approval and trust ratings are on the rise, more than enough proof of the
00:06satisfactory work he's been on lifting up the lives of Filipinos. PTV's Bien Manalo sums up
00:13the details in this report. In times of stressful and partisan politics, it is more difficult to
00:21maintain public trust in elected leaders in the country. But we are looking for characteristics
00:27of a reliable and trustworthy leader.
00:45Based on the latest survey of Tangire, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s satisfaction and trust
00:50ratings slightly increased this October. From 46.40 percent last September, it increased to
00:5746.90 percent this month. Who said they were satisfied with the performance of President
01:03Marcos Jr.? The trust in President Marcos kicked up to 59.30 percent this month, from 58.80 percent
01:11last month. The highest satisfaction and trust rate was recorded in the Northern and Central
01:16Luzon among 18 to 35 years old.
01:20Because our countrymen can see the programs that have been laid down, particularly on infrastructure development, job creation, economic self-sufficiency, food security, combating inflation, and our foreign policy.
01:40Meanwhile, Vice President Sara Duterte's trust ratings went down. From 56.80 percent in September,
01:47it dropped to 56 percent this October. Her satisfaction rating is also lagging. Last month,
01:54it was 48.70 percent, but today it's led to 48 percent. Central and Northern Luzon and Metro
02:02Manila recorded the most numbers, saying they are dissatisfied and have lost confidence in the
02:08Vice President. According to Professor Kalilong, the Vice President's previous press con has affected
02:14the lowering of her satisfaction and trust ratings.
02:45Meanwhile, 52 percent, or three in every five Filipinos, said they are satisfied with the performance of Senate President Chis Escudero.
02:54Escudero remains the highest-rated government official in the country.
02:58The trust ratings of Speaker Martin Romualdez also grew from 56.40 percent to 57 percent.
03:06It has been recognized in Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Eastern Visayas.
03:12The trust and satisfaction ratings of the highest government officials
03:16were conducted from October 16 to October 19, in which 2,000 responders participated in the survey.
