00:00The president has got his mojo back with the latest social weather station poll result
00:05showing an across-the-board uptick in the president's net satisfaction ratings in calamity
00:10response, improving education and helping the poor.
00:14Just proof the president's mojo is a result of commitment and dedication to one's sworn
00:19duties and predicated in action and hard work as our Joshua Garcia reports.
00:28The situation in the Philippines has improved.
00:31This is the belief of most of our fellow citizens under the current administration of President
00:36Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:38This is based on the latest survey by the social weather stations or SWS which shows
00:42an increase in the net satisfaction rating of President Marcos Jr.
00:46The administration's rating increased to a good plus 40 this June, up from the previous
00:51moderate plus 29 in March.
00:53This marks an 11-point increase in just three months.
00:57In the survey conducted from January 23 to July 1, 62% or more than half of Filipinos
01:03are satisfied with the general performance of the administration, 22% are dissatisfied
01:09while 15% are neutral.
01:12The administration received a very good rating for its efforts in helping those affected
01:16by calamities, improving education and supporting the poor.
01:20The administration was also rated good for its efforts in housing, science and technology,
01:25public transportation and food security.
01:28When it comes to addressing climate change, defending sovereignty and combating hunger
01:32in the country, the administration received a moderate rating.
01:36According to National Unity Party President and Camarillo-Sur-Second District Representative
01:40Luis Raymond Elrey Villafuerte, despite the widespread criticisms and black propaganda
01:45against the Marcos Jr. administration, he is confident the president's high rating
01:49is due to the government's dedicated and sincere service to the nation, particularly
01:53in assisting disaster victims, improving education for the youth, and supporting the
01:57poor.
01:58Villafuerte asserts that this is proof that the lies being spread about the president
02:02are baseless, as it is the people themselves who have expressed their support and desire
02:07for the country's development.
02:09President Marcos Jr. welcomed the results of the SWES survey, however, he views this
02:14as a challenge to further improve the service.
02:17He assures the government will continue to focus on priority sectors to fulfill his administration's
02:22promises to every Filipino.
02:24The president added, the government will continue its efforts not for popularity, but to provide
02:29genuine and effective service to the people.
02:32The goal is to improve the living standards of citizens for a more prosperous future for
02:37the nation.
02:38Joshua Garcia, from the National TV Network, for a New and Better Philippines.
