00:24And in this video, we're checking out a very interesting little camera.
00:28Let's go.
00:42Let me explain what this is.
00:43This is a camera that can shoot all around it.
00:46All 360 degrees.
00:49Once you record with this, it'll take everything in.
00:52Yes, front and back.
00:54So in theory, that means you get this whole range of POV
00:57and you won't be able to miss anything.
00:59Which is why this thing is supposedly perfect for extreme sports activities
01:04because while you're doing the extreme sport,
01:06ain't nobody got time to be shooting that.
01:08Aside from the fact that it shoots 360 degrees,
01:11this thing can also shoot in 8K,
01:13which means that you can zoom into parts of that 360 video you just shot
01:17and you won't lose quality.
01:19Which in turn makes this an even more versatile camera.
01:22The X4 also comes with a screen,
01:24which is to me a game changer as someone who likes seeing herself when she shoots,
01:29likes being able to frame herself in the photo,
01:31or likes getting a preview of whatever it is she's trying to take photos or videos of.
01:36This is a game changer.
01:38Now, let's take a closer look at this.
01:53So this isn't my first 360 degree camera,
01:56but let me tell you the first time I ever tried to use a 360 camera,
01:59I got confused.
02:01Eventually, I got it.
02:02What helped is basically thinking of these two cameras
02:05as the POV of whatever shot you're trying to take.
02:07So these take in all the footage,
02:09and Insta360 then stitches the two sides together to form that 360 view.
02:15And like, you can even shoot with just one camera
02:17if you'd want to shoot flat videos.
02:20That is an option.
02:21And then you also have different shooting accessories that can attach to this camera.
02:25It does have a screw at the bottom for tripods and such.
02:29There is a selfie stick accessory.
02:31There's a selfie stick that turns into a tripod accessory.
02:35And all of these are really cool because when you shoot with this camera and that selfie stick,
02:38it actually edits out the selfie stick in your shots.
02:42And it really looks like someone else is shooting you
02:44except all you're doing really is holding up a selfie stick and shooting yourself.
02:48Now, all of the footage you take with this camera goes to the Insta360 phone app
02:53or there's a desktop app too if you like.
02:55And from here, you'll be able to edit the videos you shot.

03:03Honestly, this just makes for some really interesting POVs.

03:17And oh my gosh, the angles we can get.
03:21We can be on the side.
03:23We can be like, hey, online.
03:26Oh my gosh, the views.
03:27And I don't even need to switch the camera because it can see everything.

04:16It's pretty useful because I now don't need him to shoot my shots.
04:31I get all the angles.
04:33I especially love this tripod mount because it is a selfie stick.

04:38So there's that.
04:40What I'm going to do is I'm going to mount it on a spot

07:06Back to the big question, when it comes to the Insta360 X4,
07:36will it be useful for girlies like me?
07:39I'd say yes, even if you're not into extreme sports or even if you're not big into adventure
07:45shooting, this tiny thing can still be very useful for your vlogs or even taking photos
07:51of yourself.
07:52It's such a useful little tool for self-shooting.
07:55This means that you won't even need a cameraman or a photographer to get your shots in, which
08:01I know is a thing for a lot of you strong independent women out there.
08:05Yes, you can most definitely vlog with this camera, though I will point out that there
08:09is a learning curve for using this camera, especially if you're used to just snapping
08:14away on your phone and immediately posting.
08:17When you use the Insta360 camera, post-prod or editing after the fact of shooting is definitely
08:23a thing because you're going to have to look back into your footage and pick out the parts
08:28that you want exported to whatever format you'd want your photos or videos to be in.
08:35This means a few things.
08:36One, if you're the type who'd want to shoot and immediately post, this might not be a
08:40gadget for you.
08:41But on the other hand, this also means that you can easily set this camera up and you'll
08:47be able to take in everything.
08:49You don't have to worry about not catching the moment.
08:52And again, this tiny thing can shoot you without anyone else's help.
08:56Now when it comes to editing, the app is quite intuitive.
08:59But in general, if you're used to editing apps on your phone, you'd be able to deal
09:03with the stuff on the app.
09:05If you ask me, the hardest part about editing on the app would be making sure that the footage
09:09is smooth when you re-edit your specific POVs from the 360 video.
09:16But then it gets easier the more you do it.
09:18And all in all, I think that this is such a great little camera that you can bring around.
09:24And yes, I can definitely say that this thing is not just for the adrenaline junkies.
09:30Definitely a great way to be able to capture your content by yourself.
