00:00What's up guys, so I wanted to do a quick video on the standard Galaxy S22 with the One UI 6.1
00:06Because I got a lot of questions and a lot of concern about this update a lot of people kind of scared to update it
00:12Watching the S22 plus video. So there was a comment on the S22 plus One UI 6 update and
00:20The comment was the battery drain is so bad on the S22
00:24Charged it to 100% and literally turned everything off that could drain the battery put it on power save mode and woke up to 50%
00:31So I did not have this issue with the S22
00:35I tried it out myself charged to 100% left it to sit, you know, right now I picked it back up
00:41I think it was like maybe a day or two and it's on 60% still so not bad. And then we got some other
00:48complaints battery life on the S22 is bad and
00:51You know right here but a few days later and this is one of the things I was trying to tell people is that
00:57Right here. It says the first two days were eventful now
01:01It's stabilized a bit getting back to what it used to but honestly overnight when you are six the most battery drain
01:08Was 5% now it's 15%
01:11So a lot of people or and you can see that comment had like six thumbs up
01:16So we are having a few people with you know, battery drain problems on the standard s22
01:24Which the s22 has not really had good battery life, but I haven't like I said me personally
01:30I haven't noticed too much of a difference and one thing in the past that I would do is I would always perform like a
01:37hard reset on my phones
01:40So if I felt like I was getting like bad battery life
01:44Then I would go to you would power down and this is for anything like if you have like a screen problem where the screen
01:50Freezes up and stuff like that. You can try a hard reset
01:53So what you would do is press the power button in the volume up button
01:59And you'll boot into the bootloader
02:08All right, so you can see we're in the bootloader and then from here you don't have to use the screen you could use
02:13The buttons here and then you can apply updates. You can completely wipe the phone back to factory settings. You can wipe the
02:21Partition on here as well to which definitely helps with performance
02:25I've done that and it's helped a lot with like phones that were kind of like a little glitchy and stuff like that and
02:31That's something that I would do try that out first
02:35And then just go ahead and reboot. So that's also a fix for
02:39Frozen screen and then also battery and like performance is kind of, you know
02:44You know something is off and something and it's kind of weird
02:46All right, so I do want to go ahead and throw out some just battery tips for you guys
02:51So if you somebody who has their brightness on max
02:55I would definitely consider like pushing it down as you know much as you can stomach it
03:00you know, especially if you're indoors and
03:03Then one thing I would do is also go to
03:08Motion smoothness now, this is for people who don't really care about the 120 Hertz
03:12This will put it to 60 Hertz
03:14So it won't be as like smooth feeling but if you put it to 60 Hertz and you don't really care
03:19That'll also save you battery life as well, too
03:21And then in the display tab, I would keep it on dark mode at all times
03:27That will also help with the battery life with this display
03:30So I won't light up those pixels and that'll help as well, too
03:34The next thing that we can do is just simply go to power saving. So that is gonna be in your
03:41Battery right here. You got a power saving and I would just turn this on as well
03:47And that'll save you a good amount of battery life
03:50It'll turn off always on display give it limit the CPU to 70%
03:54Decrease brightness by 10% and then also you can do the limit apps and home screen
03:58You can toggle that one too, and that will help a lot with other little background
04:03activities and stuff like that so you can turn that on and that will help with the battery life and
04:09Then also if you back out battery protection, this is just a tip for anybody
04:14Who is gonna be using their phone for a long time? I would definitely put that on
04:1980% here so it'll help with your battery health in the long term
04:24Like I said, if you're gonna be using your phone, you know for a few years
04:27I got another tip you can do is go to connections and then click on your Wi-Fi
04:32Click those three dots click intelligent Wi-Fi and then you're gonna turn Wi-Fi power saving mode on
04:38So what this does is it just reduces the battery usage by analyzing Wi-Fi traffic
04:44Patterns on here so that will help with the Wi-Fi or with the battery life as well, too
04:49And there's also another thing that you can do here
04:51So if we go to battery and then we go to background usage limits
04:56You can put apps into deep sleep. So these are applications that you don't use
05:00So it won't really update them or give the give you notifications for them
05:04It won't allow them to run in the background pretty much. So like just say like this T-Mobile stuff. We don't really want that
05:10Run in the background. So we just put that into the deep sleeping applications
05:14You can see deep sleeping apps will never run in the background and may not receive updates or notifications
05:19that only work when you open them so you can do that those tips and long should help a little bit with the
05:26Battery life problems and and if you don't have battery life problems, it'll give you definitely give you better battery life
05:32Now as far as the update itself, I'm not gonna go, you know into the whole one UI
05:386.1 update for this phone. Everything is working as expected
05:41We do have the circle to search on here as well, too. So that's there
05:46We also do have pretty much all of our features on here as well and nothing seems to be
05:52You know wrong with this update for me. Everything seems to be working smoothly for the most part
05:57So, you know the update has been fine

06:09Yeah, I still think the s22 is still a really good phone to buy. It's very very cheap
