00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s administration's key projects worth more than P60 billion

00:06were supported in the 21st board meeting.

00:08These two big projects are a great help for our countrymen who are going to farm and fish in Mindanao

00:16as well as strengthening our country's healthcare system.

00:19Kenneth Pacientes has the details.

00:21Two big projects were approved in the 21st NEDA board meeting led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:32The first is Phase 1 of the Health System Resilience Project which is worth P27.92 billion.

00:40The project will provide a way to strengthen the health emergency in the country.

00:45The government is also preparing to help especially in areas affected by diseases.

00:50According to the President, this is a way for the government to ensure access to healthcare wherever you live.

00:5617 provinces are the target of the pilot run of the Resilient Health System Project.

01:01The project is anchored in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028

01:06which will strengthen the country's contingency emergency response component.

01:11The Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project of the DPWH is also approved in the NEDA board.

01:17Its aim is to improve the transport network in Mindanao.

01:21That's why it is expected to transport agricultural goods from faraway places.

01:26It's one of the main road programs for Mindanao.

01:31I think that we should as much as possible proceed with the project.

01:36We need to approve.

01:38According to the President, this is a big help to the farmers so that the opportunity for them will be extended.

01:44The project's worth will reach P37 billion.

01:48It will be funded by the World Bank which is expected to be completed by 2030.
