00:37So, it means that people really need to be able to earn a living.
00:43According to the House Committee on Labor and Employment Chair Fidel Nograles,
00:47more jobs are expected in the country in the coming months and years.
00:52This is also followed by an increase in foreign direct investments in the country.
00:57According to the latest data from the Central Bank of the Philippines,
01:00the FDI net inflows of this July amounted to more than US$820 million or more than 47 billion pesos,
01:10which is 5.5% higher than estimated in the same month last year.

01:18he's happy that more people are moving to the country,

01:51Romualdez says he's confident that it will bring more foreign direct investments,
01:57as he sees the manufacturing, IT services, and tourism industries in a better shape,
02:04which will bring new projects, thousands of jobs, and a more prosperous economy.
