00:00The Filipino MMA fighter, Marjan Manahan,

00:08was defeated by the knockout artist and fellow Filipino,

00:11Greg DaVicious Valerio, this October.

00:18The 31-year-old Cavite native MMA fighter, Marjan Manahan,

00:23had no plans to fight his next opponent, Greg DaVicious Valerio,

00:27where they fought for the vacant featherweight belt

00:31of the Zeus Combat League on October 26 in Skydome, North Edsa.

00:35Manahan is considered an underdog in his 2-7 Windows Pro MMA record

00:40compared to Valerio, who has 10 wins and 8 losses,

00:445 of which were won via knockout.

00:46In the PTV Sports interview,

00:48Manahan shared that instead of being nervous,

00:50he felt excitement because of the opportunity

00:54that awaits him if he wins the title.

00:58Actually, I feel excited because after all,

01:02we lost to other countries, so I'm not ashamed of it.

01:07It's an advantage for me because after my losses,

01:12I have a privilege here in the Philippines to get a belt.

01:19Manahan also added that winning the Zeus Combat League

01:24will help him to improve his career

01:26after winning the lightweight belt

01:28in the Philippine Encuentro Championship in 2022.

01:32In my losses, once I beat Greg Valerio,

01:37I suddenly got up because I suddenly got a belt again,

01:43which is my second belt.

01:46For now, Manahan will continue his training

01:49with the help of his teammates in Manahan MMA Camp

01:52before the fight in October 26.
