00:00It has become a law that prohibits the use of the mother tongue as a medium of instruction from kindergarten to grade 3
00:09after it was not approved by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:14Now that it has become a law, the main medium of instruction is now going back to English and Filipino,
00:22so to speak, while the mother tongue original languages will only become an additional media of instruction.
00:29The Education Department has been ordered to help the Commission of Filipino Languages
00:35to pass the Language Mapping Policy Framework of MATUKOY
00:39and to classify the students depending on their native language.
