00:00Wide open, making the grab, Samuel!
00:03The tackle is missed, Devo off to the end zone, touchdown 49ers!
00:10Hi, I'm Michaels.
00:11Yeah!
00:12Amazon.
00:15What a game, right?
00:16It was a great game.
00:17Yeah.
00:1836-24.
00:19It was a great night.
00:20Happy Friday.
00:21Yeah, no doubt about it.
00:22Victory Friday.
00:23How about that, Stony?
00:24And boy, did they need that.
00:25They did.
00:26That was the game they have not won all season.
00:28I know it's five games, but no, the Rams, everything you talked about yesterday, the
00:33Cardinals, that was the game that they lose.
00:36Get out to a lead and this would have been 20.
00:38But man, they pulled a rabbit out of their hat, Stony.
00:42And the youngsters, the rookies, they helped.
00:44Everybody was in on it.
00:46Yeah, it was definitely a team win.
00:47There's no doubt about it.
00:48Especially because obviously they played without McCaffrey.
00:51They played the second half mostly without Jordan Mason.
00:55And they still made it happen.
00:57Isaac Garendo, big run to partially seal that game.
01:01Score!
01:02Yeah.
01:03Biggest play of the night, Renardo Green.
01:04It was, Donny.
01:05The interception.
01:06The game got within one score at one point.
01:09Man.
01:10Where if Seattle drives and scores a touchdown, they take the lead and Renardo Green put an
01:14end to that.
01:15So they did get contributions from everybody, Goo.
01:17A solid win on the road.
01:2036-24.
01:23And what it sets up at least is 10 days before their next game.
01:27And you got to feel a little better about where this team is, which quite frankly is
01:32in first place.
01:33No doubt about it.
01:34And I'll say this.
01:35We were calling out.
01:36The station was just, you know, we wanted to see more production from certain
01:40individuals.
01:41And last night it was a smorgasbord.
01:43We talked about Debo.
01:45I said, where are you at, Debo?
01:46He showed up in the running game and that big pass that he took to the house,
01:51Donny.
01:52And I'm like, okay, that's the Debo Samuel that, you know, where the offense used to
01:56run to him 76 yards.
01:58And then you talk about the rookies.
02:00And now I guess all reports are Jordan Mason, you know, baby Marshawn.
02:04I'm not letting go of that.
02:05Stony, a sprained AC joint.
02:07And here comes Garendo.
02:09It's like, man, when does it stop?
02:11And then you talk about the secondary.
02:13I mean, the green interception was, it was everything.
02:17Seattle had scored twice in a row.
02:18They're moving.
02:19And you're just like starting a loss in the game like that yesterday in that
02:24magnitude, I think could have crushed your psyche for the rest.
02:27And I know it's Friday payday, but I mean, that's the kind of game that you
02:31might not get over on the heels of the Arizona debacle.
02:36So kudos to everybody coaching.
02:38Stony, this was a team win.
02:40If we were giving game balls, I'm giving it to the whole squad.
02:43Yeah.
02:44I mean, everybody had a hand in it.
02:46Bosa was good.
02:48Then I didn't mention Bosa.
02:49You're right.
02:50Debo Samuel, obviously with a big, big play early.
02:55They threw for over, they threw for 255.
02:58They ran for over 200.
03:00The defense forced three turnovers.
03:03Three of five in the red zone.
03:04Exactly.
03:05So a lot of things got fixed at least for one week.
03:09And what do you guys think?
03:1049er fans, 888-957-9570 is the number.
03:16Niners raised their record to 3-3.
03:18Brock Purdy, 18 for 28, 255 yards, three touchdowns, no picks.
03:24And the 49ers capitalized on three turnovers.
03:29I guess the one piece of bad news is the special teams gave up another long
03:35touchdown kickoff return.
03:37Right when you felt like Seattle was dead.
03:40Exactly.
03:4123-3.
03:43That made it 23-10.
03:45And then it got a little dicey.
03:47But the 49ers did what they have to do.
03:49To me, that was one of those games where the 49ers jump out to a big lead
03:53and then you just know a run's going to come.
03:56See, I didn't feel that way, though.
03:58I thought Seattle was dead and they came.
04:00No, I didn't.
04:01I didn't.
04:02You knew it was coming.
04:03Yeah.
04:04We see a lot of hoop games like that where a team gets up 20,
04:08then the other team makes a run and they cut it to six.
04:12But seldom do they have enough to get over the hump.
04:15And yesterday, the 49ers kept the Seahawks from getting over the hump.
04:19And it was a total team effort.
04:22So, if you're a 49er fan, you've got to feel pretty good today,
04:26especially after the way the first five weeks of the season have gone.
04:29Yeah, no doubt about it.
04:30And another guy I called out, my version of the milk cartons, Donnie,
04:34was No. 97, Bosa.
04:36And, again, I know that football is not just about numbers,
04:39but, I mean, he was at the quarterback or in the backfield.
04:42He was being disruptive.
04:44And that's all we ask.
04:45And he wasn't a one-man gang.
04:47But when Geno Smith got going and they scored two straight touchdowns,
04:51I'm like, man,
04:52I just kept thinking of why this victory has got to be sweet for Niner fans
04:55and the coaching staff, Donnie, because they knew what time it was.
04:58What this would have meant had the collapse been complete, you know?
05:02And they stopped that.
05:04And they did it with infusion of youth.
05:08And you said the one bad thing.
05:10The one thing that bothers me is, you know, again, Stony,
05:13this has been one constant for this team, but they keep going.
05:16Mason's out.
05:17We don't know how long, if any.
05:19Mustafa, who got a great interception on the first play of the game,
05:23who was inside the 30 when he made that nice interception, he left the game.
05:27But they did Golden State Warriors.
05:29They took a page out of their book.
05:31Stony, this was truly a strength in numbers.
05:34Seattle scores late.
05:35What?
05:36They got all timeouts.
05:37And I'm thinking, okay, they might get the ball back if they stop them.
05:40And Garindo goes on that run and mimics what Arizona did to you last week
05:45in your house.
05:46They did that to Seattle.
05:48Like, not tonight.
05:49Night-night.
05:50And Garindo, that was a beautiful – you got to be happy for him.
05:53Yeah, that was a run that basically put the game away.
05:56Night-night.
05:57And then the Niners ended up taking it in for an additional score.
06:00And they end up winning by 12.
06:02So the 49ers get back on track and raise their record to 3-3.
06:08They beat a division opponent for the first time,
06:11and at least for the next 9, 10 days,
06:14now we can look at Kansas City a little bit more, let's say, eye-to-eye.
06:19Yeah.
06:20And we'll get to them next week, too.
06:22But it's looming.
06:23It's real.
06:24You had – Bosa's never beat them in his career.
06:26But, Stony, we were at the veranda.
06:28Thank everybody that came out and showed out.
06:31But you are so special.
06:32You have a list of the names of the people that we got to meet,
06:36and you'll shout them out later.
06:37But I just want you to get this out the way.
06:39When we got news, because I know you got material,
06:42that Mooney Ward wasn't playing, you said,
06:45I look like a politic – every time somebody we didn't even know came up,
06:49Mooney Ward's out.
06:50Like, I didn't expect that.
06:52But they held it down.
06:53The Niners secondary held it down.
06:56You know what?
06:57Hey, Evan.
06:58Mooney Ward, Evan, I just –
06:59Last night, I walk in and I see Guru.
07:03And he goes, Stony.
07:05I'm like, what's up, buddy?
07:06He goes, no Mooney Ward tonight.
07:09Oh, no.
07:10I'm like, oh, no.
07:11Okay.
07:12Well, they're going to have to get it done without him.
07:14And then Jim comes by.
07:16And Guru goes, yeah, Jim, no Mooney Ward.
07:21And then Sally came by.
07:23And Guru said, yeah, no Mooney Ward, though, tonight.
07:26And Guru faces me and he goes, you know what?
07:29I've got to tell you, I feel like Adam Schefter.
07:31I feel like I'm breaking this news to everybody.
07:34And I told him you weren't.
07:36That's a four, Evan.
07:38They overcame like Martin Luther King.
07:41That's a sweet win, man.
07:43No style point to disjuncture, man.
07:45They did it.
07:46Yeah, they did.
07:47They did.
07:48888-957-9570 is the number.
07:51How are you feeling after this one, 49er fans?
07:55Do you feel like everything's, if not back to normal,
07:58at least on its way back to normal?
08:01Obviously, this team looked – that's probably its best game of the year,
08:06most impressive game of the year, for no other reason than it was the best team
08:09they played, even if they haven't played a lot of great teams.
08:12But I think you've got to say this win was a little bit more thorough
08:16than the Jets win, and it was more thorough than the Patriots win.
08:20So if you're a San Francisco 49er fan for one day at least,
08:25and probably actually for the rest of this week and into next,
08:28you've got to be feeling pretty good.
08:30And you are back atop the NFC West,
08:33and it looks like you've got some things clicking last night.
08:36So a great night for the San Francisco 49ers.
