00:16special guest joining us with the hottest young wrestlers in the independent circuit
00:20and currently a Tennessee legend.
00:23You may know him from TWA, Forever Pro, Championship Wrestling, RCW, and many, many others, Mr.
00:31Jamison Shook, PWI's number 358.
00:34How are you doing, sir?
00:37The Tennessee legend, that's something.

00:53Mr. Shook, first off, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to be here with

00:57My fans and myself have many, many questions for you today.

01:01I think I'm fully prepared.
01:03All right, Mr. Shook, one of our fans has asked me to ask you, what's with all the Pittsburgh
01:10stuff?
01:11Do you root for a winner at all?
01:12Oh, come on now.
01:13Three, come on.
01:14Three and two, that's a winning record in my book, at least, and a normal person's book.
01:21It's mostly what I grew up around is Pittsburgh, so my whole family, except my mom's side,
01:28so that's why.
01:29And if there's a problem with that, I genuinely don't care.
01:33I don't blame you, sir, not at all.
01:36Mr. Shook, me and the fans know that you're unpredictable.
01:40Let's move on.
01:41So tell us how you got into professional wrestling, where you broke in the business at, who trained
01:47you, and what's your earliest memory in the business?
01:53So I was trained by Jaden Newman out of TWE in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
01:57That's currently where I'm based out of, is Chattanooga, Tennessee.
02:01Mostly at TWE, you'll find me at Action Wrestling, New South, really anywhere in the southeast.
02:06I'm probably there.
02:10First experience in the business.
02:13As soon as I started training, instantly I was thrown into a security role, and I just
02:21had to stand on the wall at TWE, which if you've been at TWE, it's two rows of chairs,
02:27and then there's this giant gaping side that has a wall, sometimes there's chairs on it,
02:31depending on how big the crowd is.
02:35I used to stand on that wall all the time and be a security guard, and it was fun.
02:40But now I'm just wrestling, and that's even more fun.
02:42Well, it has to be a lot more fun, especially since TWE has actually given you your own
02:48promotional at one point in time.
02:50Earlier in the year, you got to host, did you not?
02:53I did get to host my own show, which is still, I think to this day, like, oof.
03:00It's like a top three day in my life ever.
03:04Tell us about it.
03:05Tell us what happened, how everything turned out for that show for you.
03:09I mean, I woke up that morning in a panic because I had to run my own show, which is
03:16always scary if you've never done it before.
03:21So I woke up about nine o'clock, and Matt Tremont, Cody Manhorn, and Austin Luke were
03:28already there, so I rushed to the building, which is like 30 minutes away from my house.
03:34And I didn't really want to piss off Matt Tremont before a death match because I think
03:38that'd be dumb.
03:42And then I just kind of stayed at the building the whole time, and I was trying not to, like,
03:48freak out or have an anxiety attack through everything that was going on.
03:52And then, like, once the show started, I just kind of calmed down.
03:56And as it went on, I was getting more and more confident that I was okay.
03:58I was okay.
03:59And then my match happened, and I was fine.
04:01I have some nice scars, but it's okay.
04:04They're just scars.
04:05But that day was very fun but stressful, and I will be doing it again in 2025, and I can't wait.
04:13Well, it was a great learning experience, let's call it that, especially going from
04:17being just in-the-ring talent to being running the entire show and having all the pressure
04:22and the weight of everything on your back.
04:24That makes a huge difference inside the business.
04:26Now that you've got that under your belt, you've already said that there's going to
04:29be many more to come, and we're looking forward to it, sir, here at WrestleTalk with Rab the
04:33Beaver.

05:17What's been your greatest motivation to keep you going after all these years, sir?
05:24Keep going.
05:25It just makes me happy.
05:29It's hard to find, like, especially nowadays in this world, like, something genuine that
05:35makes you happy.
05:36I found a lot of things recently that genuinely make me happy.
05:41But wrestling is, like, one of the top three things that make me happy.
05:45So I don't want to give up that and then just sit around the house all day not doing anything.
05:51But obviously I have that end goal now of, like, now that I've been in it for a little
05:55bit longer, I'm definitely leaning more towards, okay, I think I'd like to go somewhere with
05:59this.
06:00I'd like to make money doing this.
06:01I'd like to be able to...
06:02Because it's pretty cool to say that, like, you're making a living doing what you love.
06:06It's pretty cool.
06:09So I would say, like, a hard goal of mine is to be able to make a living doing this,
06:13being one of the big two or three, I guess, if you count, impact, but...
06:21Well, we know in the years to come, you're definitely going to be climbing that list
06:24on PWI.
06:25You're going to be putting your name out there.
06:27You're going to be going to more promotions and better promotions.
06:29And speaking of that, we mentioned earlier, you work all over the place for a lot of promotions.
06:34What is your favorite and why?
06:37My favorite to go to and why?
06:41Um...
06:42Oof.
06:44Obviously, outside of TWE, because that's my home.
06:50Um...
06:51Probably Action, because, like, it's such a fun experience at Action, and it's just...
07:02There's never really any trauma, and I really enjoy that.

08:42Can you tell us about not only your match, but the heat that you've built between yourself

08:48Oh, God.
08:49My greatest rival, Chris Crunk.

08:53It's kind of a rivalry that's in like, I guess it was in a lot of places, because it was
08:59at TWE, but it's not anymore.
09:01Me and Finesse have kind of moved on.
09:04It's still kind of lingering at Forever Pro, because I feel like I was very much cheated
09:10in that last match, but whatever.
09:12Chris can say what he wants.
09:13He's a big baby.
09:16Man, I'm trying to think.
09:19We haven't really done anything in New South.
09:22We've done things at RCW.
09:23We've wrestled once at RCW.
09:28But kind of multiple places in the South.
09:31Me and Chris have gone at it.
09:34I mean, I enjoy wrestling.
09:37Well, I know the heat is really white hot between you two every time you meet, including
09:43that match that we were talking about earlier.
09:45Even after the bell, you honestly had a huge feud with him, and you guys were going to
09:51it until the end, and then even beyond.
09:53I mean, he hates you, it seems, and vice versa.
09:56I think you hate him, too, especially from the way that that rivalry has taken place.
10:00Oh, yes.
10:01We don't like each other, and I'm okay with that.
10:04Well, you've got to be.
10:07Cornette says that he's going to live to piss on Russo's grave, and you've got to admit,
10:13if you've got somebody that you hate that much inside the business, it makes it that
10:17much more fun, because you want to succeed more than they want to succeed.
10:21You have that drive to be the best more than they have that drive to be the best, and it
10:25makes for great entertainment.
10:26So, the two of you together are money any time you guys are in the ring, and I've got
10:30to say, if you want to say anything to Chris Kruk, go ahead, sir.
10:33Let it be known right here.
10:34I mean, it's not going to be hard to piss on Chris Kruk's grave, I guess.
10:40I mean, he's already 30 years older than I am, so it shouldn't be too hard.
10:51That's all I can really say is I hate Chris Kruk.

12:22And you know, it's just, it's fun to watch, but in the same aspect, like you said, you
12:26hate him.

12:28You hate everything about him.
12:29Well, that's where I was going with it is he, it just gets old and it gets annoying
12:35after a while.
12:36Are you going to do something to shut him up so he can't say any of that stuff?
