00:00Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma was pleased with the result of the labor force survey of August 2024.
00:09It was reported that the number of Filipinos who have a job increased this August.
00:15From 48 million, it became 49 million while those who do not have a job decreased to more than 100,000.
00:23In total, more than 51 million joined the labor force, from 50 million last year.
00:31In the upcoming holiday season, many jobs may open, especially in the service sector.
00:38And the target of increasing the number of Filipinos with a job is expected.
