Gen-X Cops is a 1999 Hong Kong action, comedy film written, produced and directed by Benny Chan Muk-sing (陈木胜). The film stars Nicholas Tse Ting-fung (謝霆鋒) as Jack, Stephen Fung Chun-choi (馮德倫) as Match Yeung, Sam Lee Chan-sam (李灿森) as Alien Lee, Grace Ip Pui-man (葉佩雯) as Y2K, Nakamura Toru (仲村トオル) as Akatora and Daniel Wu Neh-tsu (吳彥祖) as Jie 'Kit' Shao. A gang of criminals steal a shipment of explosives. To purge them, four officers of the Hong Kong Police decide to fight in all possible means irrespective of laws, to eliminate the crime.

Jet fuel is stolen by weapons smugglers. The fuel is reacquired by the Hong Kong police but then once again stolen by a yakuza boss named Akatora who is trying to sell it with the help of Hong Kong thug Jie 'Kit' Shao. Four rebellious cops, Jack, Match, Alien and Y2K, go undercover to find both the jet fuel and Akatora. They must use the criminal instincts that got them kicked out of the force to save Hong Kong from a devastating terrorist attack.
