00:00Alabama's quarterback, Jalen Milrow is the favorite. After a
00:08phenomenal performance last week against Georgia. More than
00:11370 passing yards, three touchdowns, 117 on the ground,
00:17multiple rushing scores. He is the only player in Alabama
00:21history to have multiple passing touchdowns in multiple rushing
00:24touchdowns in three, now make it four consecutive games. So
00:30let's start at the top, but you will see the top five. And it is
00:34very interesting. Jalen Milrow, the favorite, but the second
00:38best price is not a quarterback. It's a man that does it all.
00:41Travis Hunter, plus 350, fifth most receiving yards nationally
00:46in college football. And oh, by the way, he's an outstanding
00:49cornerback as well. Cam Ward, still there statistically, no
00:53doubt about it at six to one in Miami is off to a five and oh
00:57start. There you see Ashton Gente at plus 750. And Nico
01:01Iameleava rounds out the top five at 12 to one. I do want to
01:06start with Jalen Milrow, then we'll talk the rest of the top
01:09five, especially Kev with our attention on the non QBs. Jalen
01:13Milrow is the Heisman Trophy favorite. Only one Alabama
01:17quarterback has ever won the Heisman Trophy. That was Bryce
01:20Young in 2021. Can Jalen Milrow make history this year?
01:23100% I mean, again, he couldn't be off to a better start. It's
01:27not just the win over Georgia. It's the numbers all to back it
01:31up because we know that the numbers are still important. 18
01:35total touchdowns. You mentioned the two and two in every single
01:38game, but yardage as well. I mean, he threw for 374 in that
01:42football game against Georgia, nearly 500 yards of offense for
01:46Jalen Milrow. The worry I have with Milrow and I'm going to
01:50make this case on all this entire top group here is I do
01:55not think Alabama is going to go unbeaten. I really don't. I
01:58Kaelin DeBoer off of a buy has been brilliant. I still think at
02:02Tennessee, I think at LSU, I think the Iron Bowl, I think
02:06there are games on this schedule, where they are going
02:09to lose and in a loss. How does Jalen Milrow look and what does
02:15that do to the number? He's the rightful favorite, but I wouldn't
02:19number. I have it at a 10 to one number. So I'm feeling pretty
02:22good, but still a very difficult slate for Alabama. Debbie made
02:26the point that maybe Alabama is not undefeated. Do you believe
02:29there is a team with a Heisman Trophy front runner that could
02:32end the year unbeaten? So I ultimately don't think we're
02:36going to get unbeaten anywhere at the power level. I think that
02:39the big 10 Joe and the SEC are all too talented there. So that
02:44to me, it means that we're going to get a lot of opportunities to
02:47dive back in and bet guys off of losses, because there will be
02:52some overreactions. And it also means we should be cautious
02:55betting guys after their best moment.
02:57Yeah. And I think the one player that maybe will stay in the top
03:01three is Travis Sonner because of the versatility because of
03:04the Ironman aspect. And if he continues to just wow in
03:08Colorado wing games and be in contention for a big 12
03:11championship, keep an eye out for that. But to Kevin's point,
03:15when we look at the top, yes, I agree. I don't think Alabama
03:18will be undefeated. Does that mean that opens the door for
03:21Beck, or anybody else in regards to the SEC yours for that
03:25matter? I'm not so sure. Yeah, I think it would open the door.
03:28And we have to keep an eye out on how these games play today.
03:31But Kate club Nick, and I'm just saying he's trending now. All
03:35of a sudden, like his worst game came week one against Georgia.
03:39Maybe it's a different team. Only time will tell if they
03:43dominate Florida State they they get to the ACC championship
03:47game and he's got 35 plus touchdowns at 25 to one that's
03:51great value.
