00:00and we'll see you next time on the Crimson Tide.
00:05You know, strictly on the Crimson Tide, are you comfortable
00:08with Alabama earning what seems to be right now the last and
00:13final at-large berth into the college football playoff?
00:17Yeah. I mean, again, you know, if we're going to have a
00:21conversation about South Carolina making the college
00:23football playoff in that win that Alabama had regardless of
00:26how tight it was over the game. Cox certainly has to hold a lot
00:29of the opponents that Alabama has beaten including Georgia.
00:31You know, they have a resume that stacks up against it.
00:34Do you want to hang the losses on Alabama for and I always
00:39wonder why people put more weight on losses than they do
00:42on wins. They lost to a Vanderbilt team that ended up being
00:45ranked for four or five weeks. I've also a Tennessee team
00:47that's going to the college football playoff. Look at the
00:49Oklahoma one is the hard one to explain just the same way the
00:52Kentucky one is the hard one to explain for Ole Miss. It's
00:55hard to explain. I know they lost to NIU, but we're not
00:57doubting them. Like I always give one team a stinker. I
01:00will give every team one stinker loss that nobody saw
01:03coming. I think it's fair. It's football. It's really hard to
01:06do it for 12 weeks and beat everybody especially by margin.
01:09So I think Alabama is in again. I think if Georgia loses they
01:14should be out. They should be out over Alabama and be out
01:17over Ole Miss. I don't care that they had to play an extra
01:19game. The fact of the matter is is that you know, the losses
01:23that they have and the way that they played down the stretch
01:26because yes, late should matter more than early, right? It
01:29absolutely should. That's why it's better to lose early than
01:32lose late. So yeah, the way that the current form of Georgia
01:35if they get beat especially get beat resoundingly by Texas,
01:38they should be on the outside looking in and Alabama and or
01:41Ole Miss and South Carolina should walk their way in.
