01:49We could have chosen any Kirby game for this list, but Epic Yard in particular is impossible to play while sad.
01:55Between the upbeat music and cutesy atmosphere, the game clearly wants you to just enjoy yourself in any way you want.
02:06You don't have to worry about beating a time limit, simply look for secrets to nab new stickers and furniture for your apartment.
02:11Sure, there are Waddle Dees running around in some areas, but you'll rarely find many threats in the world of Patchland.
02:17So enjoy Kirby's cute noises and transformations.
02:30Power Wash Simulator
02:35Power washing may not be something everyone can enjoy in real life, but in video game form it's another level of satisfaction.
02:41Perhaps it's the slow reveal in how more fantastical elements are at play.
02:45However one may feel, there's a feeling of accomplishment in cleaning a subway tunnel all by yourself or an ancient statue with a friend.
02:51Plus playing solo gives you an excuse to shut your brain off and chill to some music or listen to a podcast.
02:56There really isn't any reason to stress about a job in this game unless you're going for those medals in Challenge Mode.
03:06Forza Horizon 5

03:12The most recent entry in the Forza Horizon games, Horizon 5, has you racing across Mexico.
03:17However competitive racing isn't the only activity here.
03:19You'll find plenty of missions that only want you to take part in cool stunts or obstacle courses.
03:23And if you aren't feeling like you want to race or do stunts, you have unfettered access to the entire world.
03:28Hunt for XP boards, find garages to unlock more cars, or just take a casual drive in your favorite car while jamming to one of the many in-game radio stations.
03:38The world truly is your oyster here, so enjoy driving in whatever way you're feeling.
03:53LEGO series
03:55The LEGO games may have risks and goals, but for the most part they really don't try to inflict a ton of stress on you.
04:08Heck, even the boss fights won't make you sweat like most games do.
04:11The games mainly want you to go at your own pace, explore for collectibles, and just have a good time.
04:15Take a break to fight your friend and check out the other unlockables you've earned.
04:18Run around and free roam for a bit, anything you want.
04:21Just make sure you aren't dying too much before you fill the stud meter, or else you might have to replay some levels.

04:35We can easily chalk up Katamari's placement here to its music.
04:38Seriously, these games have excellent songs like Into the Sky and Lonely Rolling Star.
04:47However, Katamari is something truly mesmerizing in its gameplay.
04:50Rolling stuff up and watching your Katamari slowly get bigger and bigger is immensely satisfying.
04:55While Daddy Dearest, the king of all Cosmos, may not approve of every Katamari you make,
04:59his cold attitude is only a part of the game's surreal humor.
05:02So don't feel bad about your efforts if he's getting too persnickety over your rolling.
05:10Super Mario Bros. Wonder
05:13Wah-ha!
05:16The very second you hit the second level, it's impossible to pull away from Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
05:21With every level having a Wonder Flower hidden inside, it's hard to think about anything else while you're exploring.
05:27You're too busy eagerly anticipating the next crazy thing to happen.
05:30Are the Koopas gonna start singing now?
05:32Why are there bubbles everywhere suddenly?
05:34Every idea offers a fun and unique way to play,
05:36and it never pushes you to pull off crazy maneuvers unless you're going for total completion.
05:40And when you die, it's hard to get mad at the game or yourself.
05:48Animal Crossing New Horizons
05:55New Horizons has truly captured a massive player base, and understandably so.
05:59This is a game where you can build the ultimate island getaway and customize it to your heart's content.
06:03Craft furniture, decor, even structures to place around your park.
06:07But the biggest draw was the multiplayer.
06:09It's so easy and entertaining to see what our friends did with their islands compared to ours,
06:13and we could fish, catch bugs, design outfits, or just hang out just as we would in real life.
06:17As for Tom Nook, he isn't so demanding on repayment like he was in the old days.
