00:00What is the role of Amplia in the development of sustainable practices?
00:04Amplia has been implementing sustainable practices for years on all three directors,
00:10social, environmental and governance.
00:14In particular, on environmental aspects,
00:16in recent years we have undertaken very concrete actions,
00:20among which I can certainly mention the experimentation on materials,
00:24i.e. the design of materials for construction
00:27that have improved environmental performance.
00:31For example, the bituminous conglomerate,
00:34produced with a technology that allows the use of lower temperatures,
00:38has a higher recycling rate.
00:41We are also working on a plan for the implementation of plants
00:45with fuels with better environmental performance,
00:49reducing NOx, SOx and all pollutants,
00:54and therefore a comprehensive reduction of CO2 emitted.
00:58It is important to be here today to testify
01:01to the importance of sustainability within the industrial context,
01:06not only from an environmental point of view,
01:09but also precisely for the creation of value,
01:11value understood also in terms of economic sustainability,
01:15The economic lever is important because these strategies
01:19have a real spread, a more credible spread,
01:25also compared to the world of investors,
01:28and because it is also important to testify to the outside world,
01:31i.e. stakeholders, to the community,
01:33that practices are not just images,
01:36but have a concrete, important and measurable aspect.
