00:00With today's meeting, which has licensed the plan for next year, we look forward to 2025
00:12rich in many initiatives, being a year of several events, the year in which we organize
00:19the Sustainability Biennale, therefore a program of events, activities, conferences, exhibitions,
00:29very articulated, which goes to tell and discuss with international interlocutors those
00:39that are the issues, the problems and also some achievements that the Foundation deals
00:48with those who deal with the same issues, the same problems on the great field of sustainability
00:54of the territorial development in other contexts of the world, starting from what is codified
01:01as the theme of climate resilience, that is, the ability on the part of a territory
01:08to find solutions to adapt to the effects of climate change, in the case of Venice
01:19in particular, the theme of the rise of the Mediterranean.
01:22We try first of all to have an integrated approach to the theme of sustainability and resilience,
01:28we try to see how sustainable development is applied contextually to the economy,
01:37to society, to the environment, and as our innovation also to the theme, especially because it is centered
01:47on Venice, also on the theme of cultural sustainability.
01:52We have a wide spectrum of issues that we monitor and work on, and that we focus on
02:02precisely for the integration, the concept of integration that I have just told you,
02:08that go from the development of the economy to hydrogen, to the protection of the environment
02:18and to energy efficiency, to the development of renewable sources, to innovation as one of the keys
02:26of diversification of the economic base of our territory, to the theme of residentiality,
02:34to the theme of social inclusion, to the theme of legality, and to the great project of Venezia Città Campus,
02:45that is, the growth, the development of a cluster of knowledge within our territorial space.
02:54If you think about it, this group of themes are actually a combination of the will to respond
03:07to the obvious threats of our territory, I forgot to mention, for example, the whole theme of tourism,
03:12and at the same time to benefit from the opportunities that open up in this historical moment.
03:26When I talk about innovation, when I talk about energy transitions, when I talk about the environment,
03:36when I talk about hydrogen, I refer to development prospects that could be very interesting in our area.
