00:13little NCAA football. We were
00:15giving Leroy the business. He

00:21support. You know where you
00:22went to school. You say oh you
00:23went to get it. Yeah I got it
00:25in. And that's it. Do they even
00:26have an NCAA hoops. Like do
00:28they. What are you saying the
00:29basketball. Yeah if you play
00:31basketball. Is there even a
00:32college basketball NCAA. No no
00:34it shouldn't be. No. I don't
00:35know. Football just the
00:36football just makes so much
00:37more money. I feel like that
00:39is a staple that college
00:41football is football and
00:43basketball. But yeah football
00:44is. Everyone loves the
00:45football game. Those fans are
00:46rabid up there though. Like
00:47you got the Kentucky. My
00:49uncle's a rabid rabid
00:51Kentucky Wildcats fan. He
00:52actually told me about when
00:53you guys drafted. Bam. Like
00:55anytime you guys draft
00:56Kentucky I'm like I always get
00:57the scouting report from you
00:58guys. It is insane. Not is. I
01:01mean the whole Lexington just
01:04loves that whole Kentucky
01:06campus whether it's football
01:08basketball baseball whatever
01:09it is they're diehard fans.
01:11It's the only besides Louisville
01:12is the only real like sports
01:16team in the state. So they
01:17really support and come out
01:19hard for the for Kentucky. How
01:21was how was the summer. Any
01:22any. It looked like you had
01:24yourself a time man. Look you
01:26have an album come out. I
01:27thought you like you put like
01:28a little Instagram look like I
01:30saw a snippet. I think I saw
01:31you in the lab. No I had a
01:33great summer. Had a lot of fun.
01:36I'm definitely excited to be
01:37back though. Definitely. So no
01:39album. I'm not. I don't have an
01:41album. I like I like to dibble
01:43and dab. That's like it's like
01:44a hobby. Yeah. But I'm not
01:46releasing any music anytime
01:48soon. So this is like probably
01:49one of the longer off seasons
01:51you've had. Right. Yeah. I was
01:53it's been here. That's what I
01:54said. I was ready to get back
01:56and just into like a routine. I
01:57was felt like I was hanging out
01:58too long. So you feel like you
02:01start feeling uncomfortable. I
02:02was supposed to be doing
02:03something. I know I'm working
02:05out but I need to I need to I
02:06need to fill my day with a
02:08little bit more than just
02:08working out. So I'm excited to
02:10be back from your standpoint.
02:13Like how did you take the end
02:15of last year. Like you guys
02:16obviously didn't feel like you
02:17had all your horses there at
02:18the end. Such a bitter rivalry
02:20with Boston. So like when you
02:22reflect back on that like what
02:23did you I guess take from the
02:25ending of that season. I mean
02:28obviously the whole year we're
02:29kind of banged up from beginning
02:32to the end. So really we didn't
02:35we didn't have much of a you
02:37know a chemistry of me Jimmy
02:39Abam also didn't play much
02:40together and then you had Terry
02:42into the mix. He ends up going
02:43down or I went down first and
02:45he went down and then Jimmy goes
02:48down before the playoffs. So it
02:49was just it was a tough
02:50situation to be in. Obviously
02:52we were very motivated to win
02:54and you know try to beat the
02:55Celtics. We're one of the I
02:57think they were the only team
02:58that beat him once right. Us
03:00and did he get one. Someone
03:03else. But either way it wasn't
03:04good enough. But you know it's
03:07just it was a tough situation
03:09to be in obviously. But you
03:12know you reflect on it and
03:13everyone's back healthy and
03:14we're ready to roll. A lot of
03:16people have asked about like
03:17you and Terry because we never
03:18really got to see that. Like as
03:20soon as you got back he got her
03:21with the weird thing. Yeah.
03:23Did you guys like spend any
03:25time together this summer
03:26getting to know each other a
03:26little bit better or anything
03:28that you feel like will help
03:29mesh that that kind of unknown
03:31going into this year. I mean we
03:33definitely we hung out definitely
03:36if quite quite a bit in the
03:39summer. So I mean we were
03:41definitely friends. We don't
03:42hate each other. We'll see how
03:46it works on the court. But you
03:47know we we hung out and we you
03:50know I guess that we're cool.
03:52I always wonder how how that
03:53works because you know a lot of
03:56times people predetermine how
03:58it's going to fit together and
04:00you you guys are trying to make
04:02it work together. And so you go
04:04into it with a whole different
04:06mindset. You know you go into
04:08it like oh I like this you like
04:09this or whatever. How long does
04:11that really take because now
04:13that you have a personal
04:15relationship and you're friends
04:17it kind of helps with that
04:18right. Yeah. No for sure. I
04:20mean anytime you're you're
04:22you're playing with someone
04:23that you like is easier because
04:25you you want to see their
04:26success. You want them to be
04:28successful and ultimately you're
04:30happy for them when they're
04:31doing their thing. So at the end
04:34of the day I think there will be
04:36you know some things we have to
04:37work out as every year we we
04:39have to do that no matter who's
04:41on the team. So you know we'll
04:44work it out and we'll just
04:45continue to see how it goes and
04:46continue to get better with it.
04:47And we have two really good
04:49guards and obviously you had
04:51Duncan to it too and I think our
04:54backcourt is really really good.
04:56I would agree with that. I think
04:59I saw on your social media there
05:01was a posting of a ranking that
05:04you may have. I'm just
05:06interpreting so you tell me if
05:07I'm right or wrong. It could be
05:09something could be nothing. Did
05:11you find the ranking of 87 to be
05:13a slap in the face. Did you find
05:15that to be too low. What was the
05:17reasoning behind that. Yeah. I
05:20do. No I don't think it's too
05:22low. But I don't make the
05:24rankings. I made my rankings
05:27there'll be a little bit
05:28different than that. So everyone
05:30has to do it right. Everyone has
05:32their own opinion and you know
05:34it's cool. I'm cool with it. How
05:36much do you find stuff like that.
05:37Like do you find that stuff
05:39motivating anymore or is it like
05:41has become less so because
05:42you're a guy you're used to
05:44honestly dealing with the noise
05:45and you deal with it well. Yeah
05:47honestly it hasn't even got to
05:49I'm always motivated. I got two
05:51beautiful kids that motivate me
05:52enough. So like a ranking
05:54honestly is more of like a I
05:56look at that ranking and kind of
05:58just laugh like honestly. I'm
06:00gonna tell you what you do. You
06:01look at the list. You see this
06:07guy right here. I respect
06:10everybody on the list. But
06:12again it's from what you believe
06:14you are not from them. And so
06:16you look at the list ago. There's
06:18also players on the list that I
06:19seen throughout the summer. We
06:20played one on one. We shot. We
06:22did our thing and they don't
06:23know that. Right. And they don't
06:25know that. And those players
06:26might even tell you that they're
06:27not better than me from what
06:28I've done to them. So I'm not
06:31even going to wait in the summer
06:33in the summer. I'm not in the
06:35game. So you saw an accurate
06:38thing. Yes. Like I said you
06:40still remember. Oh yeah. Oh

06:45shipped me out of Baltimore and
06:47they brought in Bam Morris. I
06:48still got his stats. That's
06:51what makes us who we are. You
