Henry Bryant and Sam Morton spoke to three Albion fans about what they've made of Fabian Hurzeler's start to the season and Brighton's new modern rivalry with Chelsea.
Transcript
00:00Alright, so first and foremost, introduce yourselves and how long have you been supporting Brighton O'Brien?
00:05I'm Pendrick Brighton and I've been supporting, probably since I was about three.
00:10Yeah, I'm Will, I've had a season ticket since 2017-18, I've been kind of die-hard to games ever since we were little.
00:20Fantastic, and what do you guys make of this new rivalry between Chelsea and Brighton?
00:25Obviously the managers go into Chelsea, lots of players as well, what do you make of it all?
00:29I think it is, it's obviously a bit of a modern kind of rivalry, given that it's only really from them having all the money and signing all our players.
00:38But, to be honest, I find it pretty funny, because all the Chelsea fans there, at least the ones I know, they're always so negative about it and what players they sign for them.
00:48They're always negative about how they turn out to be on the floor.
00:52It's funny, at least for us, given that we've been able to sign, spend £200 million this summer, giving all the money they're giving to us.
01:00Yeah, do you agree with that?
01:02What do you make of the start of the season so far and Hersella's start as a Brighton manager?
01:06It's pretty decent, I mean, longest undefeated run since 2016, so, pretty close.
01:11We talk about the rivalry, and you look up here, and look at the amount they've won.
01:16Look at the amount we've won, yeah, we come here with every expectation that we could get a result.
01:21It shows how far we've come as a team, and that the rivalry is something which actually we have a proper expectation to be able to give these guys everything they've won with good game.
