00:00Hello, I'm Sam Morton, reporter for Sussex World. I'm joined here by Henry Bryant, who
00:03is about to watch Brighton take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. So Henry, how do you see
00:07this one going?
00:08I think it's going to be a really difficult one for Brighton and Joao Valverde. Not with
00:12João Pedro, that's going to be a big difficult situation for Brighton. They need to get goals.
00:18Danny Welbeck though, he's scored against Chelsea for the past three consecutive seasons.
00:22So if he's on the starting line-up today, which he should be, then that's a really big
00:26threat for Chelsea to thwart. But they've been in really good form recently. I think
00:31that Enzo Maresco is doing a good job at Chelsea and we'll just have to see what happens. But
00:35I'm predicting a 2-2 draw.
00:37And who would you say are the main danger men for Chelsea? Obviously Nicholas Jackson
00:42has been in good form of late. Is he one you'll find him conscious about? And who else does
00:45Brian need to keep an eye on in the Chelsea team?
00:48Absolutely. I think that Nicholas Jackson is a real threat and we all know what he's
00:52capable of. I think this season, these first few games, he's been proving himself more
00:56and more and he's becoming a real fan's favourite for the fans at Stamford Bridge. But I also
01:02do think that Cole Palmer, the coldest Palmer, is doing really well as well. We know how
01:08influential he can be in a game and the previous fixture we had against Chelsea, he did score
01:13a really nice header. So we'll have to watch out for him. We'll have to get our marking
01:17right and we'll have to make sure that we're on top form all of the games to make sure
01:21that they don't slip through the cracks and get the attacks in.
01:25Obviously it's become a bit of a rivalry of late. Chelsea and Brighton with the transfers
01:29and obviously the managers that have come and gone. What would you say about that? Do
01:34you think there's still going to be a bit of fire in this match today?
01:36There's always a bit of fire with the fact that Brian and Mario Valverde have profited
01:41a lot from the players and manager that they have sold to Chelsea in effect. I think Chelsea
01:47fans as well, there's a little bit of tension between them and the Albion fans because essentially
01:54I think Brighton fans think that they've been able to use money to gain a lot of these players
01:59and the fact that Brighton are still able to come up trumps in a lot of occasions makes
02:06a lot of fans feel like this is Brighton, this is their spirit and it's actually that
02:11that carries them through. It's not the players or the managers, it's the way that they play
02:15their soul and their identity and it feels like for some fans that Chelsea are trying
02:19to take that with any means possible. It'll be a real feisty one today and I'm here for
02:24it.
02:25Brilliant, thank you for that Henry. Stay tuned for all our match coverage and reaction
