00:00First Premier League game, obviously, of this season, at the weekend, for your first ever Premier League game for the man in the opposition, Doug Outs-Hertzler.
00:08You have so much experience managing at the level, he's just starting out at 31 years old.
00:14What advice or what would you tell him to expect from this league?
00:18I wouldn't tell him anything before we play him.
00:21No, it's a challenging league.
00:24I think, excuse me, from a lot of foreign managers that have come into the league, I've got to know over the years, they've all said that,
00:30the first thing that hits them is the different demand of the league and everyone challenges in this division.
00:37It's not just the sort of superpower clubs currently, everyone is a challenge.
00:42There's no easy ride in the Premier League.
00:44I think that one seems to be the feedback I've had from many managers down the years.
00:49He'll learn, I'm sure. He's obviously got to where he's got to for a good reason.
00:53At a young age, he's obviously highly thought of.
00:57Every day is a learning curve anyway in football, in any walk of life, but particularly in football and particularly in the Premier League.
01:03We'll see how he fares, but like I say, I'm not going to tell him too much until we play him.
01:08You couldn't separate the two sides across your two games last season.
01:12What do you expect to see from Brighton under their new management?
01:15I'm sure he's trying to bring his version of what he wants to do.
01:19It still looks to me like they're passing, playing, maybe pressing a bit quicker,
01:24maybe a bit quicker tempo to their passing and playing, but he's just looking to get his variation of football.
01:30He'll know deep down that you've got to win enough to make sure that people take strength in what you do.
