00:20This bizarre scenario, bordering on, possible, incest, has been portrayed in the movie, Maybe

00:24I Do.

00:26Encapsulating the confused feelings in the title, the film gives us an idea of what we

00:29can expect from the plot.

00:32Written and directed by Michael Jacobs, it follows the crucial point in the romance between

00:36Michelle and Alan as they ponder the big, I do a question.

00:39The movie explores a variety of themes, from relationship troubles, marriage readiness,

00:44and the fear of growing old to infidelity, falling out of love, and the overall complications

02:20single girlfriends to catch, everyone knows Michelle is the one who's going to do it.

02:25Scared of the eventual consequence of his girlfriend catching the bouquet, Alan jumps

02:29above a table and catches the flowers first.

02:32Michelle is utterly humiliated and upset by this.

02:35This sets the tone for the rest of the movie, for now, we know where the confusion lies.

02:45We could relate to the troubles of the couple, as there can come a time when one person feels

02:49ready to take the next step in the relationship, but the other one needs some convincing and

02:53time to think.

02:55After an argument, Michelle and Alan go back to their respective parents' houses to cool

02:59off and get some perspective.

03:00Here, we get to see the predictable plot twist, Michelle is Grace and Howard's daughter, whereas

03:06Sam and Monica are the parents of Alan.

03:09In this twisted situation, we know the reality even though the characters are unaware of

03:12the tricky situation.

03:15As always, we expect the whole debacle to unravel in the climax of the movie when Michelle

03:19invites Alan and his parents over to her house for dinner.

04:05When he comes back, Grace is left out of sorts as she does not understand what to do.

04:09Even though the couple did not sleep together or cheat on their partners, they feel guilty

04:13because they lie to their partners all the same.

04:16What they don't realize is that their partners are busy covering up their own web of lies

04:20and deceit.

04:21The humorous situation unfolds quite swiftly as they try to pivot the attention towards

04:25the couple of the hour, Alan and Michelle.

04:28The young couple decides to talk through their issues and understand each other's perspective.

04:32Their respective thoughts on marriage come from how they have seen their parents together

04:36over the years.

04:37Michelle has seen Grace and Howard being loving, caring, and respectful to each other.

04:43Even after years of being together, they still adore each other, or at least pretend
