00:19Her full name is Kirstie Louise Alley.

00:22Kirstie Louise Alley was born on January 12, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, U.S. to Robert

00:28Deal Alley and Lillian Mickey Jenae Heaton.

00:32Her father was a lumber company owner and her mother was a housewife.

00:36Her two siblings are Craig and Colette.

00:39She grew up as a Methodist and studied at the Wichita Southeast High School and graduated

00:43from there in 1969.

00:45Thereafter, she enrolled at the Kansas State University in the same year.

00:50She moved to Los Angeles to take up Scientology and pursue a career in interior designing,

00:54and became a member of the Church of Scientology in 1979.

00:59By that time, Alley also got drawn towards party lifestyle in California and eventually

01:03became a drug addict.

01:05She underwent a Scientology-affiliated drug treatment program to combat drug abuse while

01:09continuing her training in Scientology.

01:11As of 2007, she has obtained the level of operating the TAN Level 7.

01:16In 2007, she also donated $5 million to the church.

01:21She lost her mother in a car accident due to a drunk driver in 1981.

01:26The incident left her father severely injured, but he recovered eventually.

05:44She welcomed her grandson Waylon Tripp Parker, born through William True, and announced the

05:48news on June 21, 2016.

05:52She died at age 71 on December 5, 2022 after battling cancer.
