00:02In this video, I will explain the ending of Teen Wolf, the movie, so, let's begin.

00:07Paramount's Teen Wolf, the movie is a supernatural thriller film directed by Russell Mulcahy.

00:13It serves as a continuation of the television series of the same name developed for television

00:19The film takes place a few years after Scott McCall and his pack graduated from high school

00:23and moved to different walks of life.

00:25However, when a sinister evil rises and threatens their sleepy little town of Beacon Hills,

00:30Scott, the perpetual alpha, is forced to gather his pack for one hell of a fight.

00:35As old friends reunite and new alliances are forged, Scott and his pack do everything they

00:40can to dispel the evil, but do they succeed?

01:11Moments later, Alison's father, Chris Argent, shows up at Scott's shelter and explains that

01:19Therefore, they must return to Beacon Hills and perform an ancient ritual to help her move on.

01:24In Beacon Hills, Derek Hale works as a consultant for Sheriff Noah Stilinski as they investigate

03:59Therefore, he agrees to let the Nogitsune win by playing its divine move of Alison killing

04:05Alison shoots Scott in the heart with her Wolfsbane arrows.

04:12However, Hikari's fire kitsune spirit has been protecting Scott all along.

04:17The arrows do not kill him, and Scott quickly heals from the wounds.

04:21Eventually, Parrish and Malia arrive with silver bullets capable of killing the Oni.

04:26Parrish unleashes his hellhound form, and Lydia taps into her banshee powers to help

04:31their friends inside the illusion.

04:33As a result, the Nogitsune's divine move fails, and Scott unites his pack for one final battle.

04:39How do Scott and Derek defeat the Nogitsune?

04:42In the end, Scott's pack fights the Oni while Scott and Derek team up against the Nogitsune.

04:47The fight scene is a throwback to the old days when Derek was the Alpha, but with Scott's

04:52help, they manage to take down the toughest foes.

04:55However, the group defeated the trickster spirit only with some help from Stiles.

04:59Nonetheless, Eli transforms into a werewolf and fights alongside Scott and Derek, filling

05:04out the third spot.

05:06The Nogitsune plays its hand by conjuring an illusion that separates Scott, Derek, and Eli.

05:12However, the trio manages to break the illusion using their roar.

05:16A werewolf roars to contact its pack and reveal its location, the first lesson Scott learned

05:20from Derek.

05:22Scott and Derek roll back the years as they unleash their raw strength and capture the Nogitsune.

05:27However, they must completely destroy the trickster spirit to stop it from returning

05:31again.

05:32Hence, Parrish uses his Hellfire to burn the creature but needs someone to hold down the

05:36Nogitsune.

05:37Ultimately, Derek takes responsibility, pushing Scott aside.

05:42Derek bravely sacrifices himself to protect his loved ones and Parrishes with the Nogitsune.

05:47However, in his last moments, he entrusts Eli's responsibility to Scott.

05:53Scott and Derek consider each other brothers and remained connected through their shared

05:56werewolf bond.

05:58Thus, Derek sacrifices himself, knowing his brother will look after Eli.

06:03The emotional moment brings Derek's story full circle as his eyes turn red, becoming

06:07a true alpha.

06:09Derek's eyes turned blue after he became responsible for his lover's death.

06:13However, by sacrificing himself for his loved ones, Derek proves himself to be the most

06:18virtuous of the werewolves, a true alpha.

06:21Sadly, the true alpha power is not enough to save him from the Hellfire and Derek Hale

06:26rests in peace, at last.

06:33In the aftermath of their fight with the Nogitsune, Scott and his family hold a funeral for Derek.

06:38Scott reminds Eli that he will always look after him as Derek did when he was younger.

06:43Scott and Allison reunite and discuss adopting Eli.

06:47Meanwhile, Harris is arrested and sent to Eichen House, a psychiatric house for those

06:51who believe in the supernatural.

06:53As for Eli, he transforms into a werewolf during the final fight after failing to confront

06:58his wolf form due to a traumatic childhood incident.

07:00However, his father's death motivates Eli to accept his true self by learning to be

07:05a werewolf.

07:06In the final moments, Sheriff Stilinski gives Eli the keys to Stiles' Jeep.

07:11The sheriff reminds Eli that the Jeep, just like his father, kept running no matter how

07:15badly it got knocked down.

07:17Thus, the sheriff urges Eli to keep the Jeep running as a symbol of his father's legacy.

07:23Ultimately, Eli will not only be shouldering the responsibility of his father's legacy

07:27but the entirety of the McCall Pack.

07:30Like the Jeep, the Eteen Wolf universe also finds a way to keep moving forward, sometimes

07:34without the most fan-favorite characters like Stiles and Derek.

07:38Therefore, Eli getting the Jeep symbolizes the passing of the baton, with Little Hale

07:43becoming the latest teenage werewolf menace in Beacon Hills.
