00:00And Independence Day celebration, like no other.
00:06Happy 4th of July, America, it's your birthday, go ahead and celebrate.
00:12Boy, the hot dogs and hamburgers are running wild.
00:16Stars and stripes forever.
00:18Happy 4th of July, and welcome to Monday Night Raw.
00:26It's an Independence Day celebration, if you will.
00:30Hello everyone, I'm Daniel Lamontson, along with the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
00:34We've got fireworks, cuz we have in action, Jim, the Admiral Nighthawk.
00:40And also we have The Undertaker, who is managed by the Million Dollar Man,
00:45Ted DiBiase, and the thought of that gives me chills up and down my spine.
00:50But right now, inside the squared circle,
00:53the country western star, WJ, awaiting on this 4th of July.
00:57The Native American, Ted Conka.
01:00Yeah.
01:01This contest is scheduled for
01:06one fall coming down the aisle from Denver,
01:12North Carolina, weighing 250 pounds,
01:17the Native American, Ted Conka.
01:22Native American really looking good here this week on Monday Night Raw.
01:26You're right about that, Gorilla, but he's gonna have to look real good,
01:28because WJ wants to make a statement right here on Monday Night Raw.
01:31He wants a victory over Native American, Ted Conka.
01:34Each one seeking each other's reputation.
01:37Well, WJ, of course, looking to put what Ted Conka wants, a feather in his cap.
01:43He wants to just push his career right to the limit.
01:47Right, and you know what about WJ, Gorilla?
01:50We haven't heard him sing yet.
01:52Not one note.
01:53No, we haven't heard him sing country or western.
01:56Is there a difference?
01:57I don't know if there is or not.
01:59Can't experience it before we know.
02:02Well, there's no denying his ability inside the squared circle.
02:06A real ring technician.
02:08He'll give Ted Conka all he wants.
02:10The only thing is, is when you make a statement like you're gonna use
02:13the World Wrestling Federation to further another career,
02:16guess what happens on Monday Night Raw.
02:18There's a big showdown, and it's right now as we speak.
02:22Native American, Ted Conka versus WJ, who's your buddy on?
02:26Well, I kind of have to lean towards the Native American.
02:29He's been so focused lately.
02:32It's gonna be hard to upset his appetite.
02:34I'm gonna make things interesting.
02:36I'm gonna bet on WJ.
02:37What, two hot dogs, two hamburgers?
02:40A hot dog and a half versus a hamburger and a quarter.
02:43Sounds good to me.
02:44Maybe we could get her to go get him.
02:46She says get raw or get out.
02:48I'm raw already.
02:50Only fault I find with WJ is sometimes Macho Man,
02:55he wastes a lot of valuable time inside the ring.
02:59Wow, Gorilla, you hit her right on the head right there, and
03:02Ted Conka's hitting WJ on the head.
03:04Iris whip into the corner.
03:06Ted Conka not wasting any time.
03:08Another Iris whip and, nice counter move.
03:10He got caught in midair.
03:12That's pretty incredible right there.
03:14Native American Ted Conka right now, he- Power slam and a beauty.
03:18A running power slam.
03:19It could be now.
03:20Almost a very, very quick victory, which would have been very embarrassing for
03:23WJ.
03:24And how, Suplex City coming up.
03:28Look how long he held him up there.
03:30WJ just reached new heights.
03:32Tremendous elevation on that move.
03:35Another cover, two and no.
03:37That's the closest WJ's gonna get to going to the top of the charts.
03:41And to the locker room.
03:42You're right about that.
03:44Another Iris whip coming up, no, reversal by WJ.
03:47Beautiful single leg trip.
03:50Flies up into that reverse chin lock.
03:53Admit it, right now, Gorilla Double J can wrestle.
03:55And your bet's not as good as last year.
03:58Well, you know, it's always Ted Conka who is relentless in doing his homework for
04:02his opponents.
04:03But how much homework could he have done, Randy,
04:06when he knows that this weekend on WWF Superstars, he has to face The Undertaker?
04:12You know what about The Undertaker?
04:13It's really mysterious right now because he's got the new manager managed by Ted
04:19DiBiase, the million dollar man as he's been in the news as of late.
04:23Boy, has he ever taken over an All-American, can you believe it?
04:28Needed a platform, needed a vehicle.
04:31Trying to make my program a showcase?
04:34I don't know.
04:36I'm gonna do something about that.
04:38Mark it down and don't forget.
04:40Beautiful shoulder block by Double J.
04:42Let's talk it out quickly in front over the top.
04:44Hook on leap frog.
04:47Beautiful arm drag.
04:49Native American can do it all.
04:54Reverse knife edge finds the mark.
04:57Those chaps are taking the tone.
04:59Boy, they certainly are.
05:01Wearing down Double J.
05:02Talk about being worn down.
05:04Ted DiBiase, the million dollar man, gotta be a little confused, Randy.
05:08On a heartbreak hotel, it was Paul Bearer who stated,
05:11I have been in contact with The Undertaker.
05:13Talk about confused.
05:14I'm not from the state of Florida anymore, I'm from the state of confusion.
05:17And I just can't wait to see Paul Bearer later on.
05:19Big tackle right there, right here on Monday Night Raw.
05:22And I clear up the situation.
05:24Beautiful hip-flop counter and one of his own by Sataka.
05:28What I didn't understand, Randy, was he said that he was in contact with him, but
05:32he didn't talk to him.
05:34And how do you explain that cosmic experience, Randy?
05:37Well, I had one of those, but it was in another lifetime.
05:41Nothing really, really, really current.
05:44But right now, the way I see it, Native American Sataka has been controlling
05:48Double J through this entire match, so to speak.
05:51What an action in this one, nonstop side headlock right now by
05:55the Native American, Sataka, as he is in control.
05:59Two of the greatest superstars in the new generation of
06:01the World Wrestling Federation going hand to hand.
06:04Boy, no question about it, and
06:05both of these individuals would certainly like to chalk one up in the wing column
06:09here.
06:10Double J desperately trying to throw Native American Sataka off,
06:14trying to get out of that headlock right there.
06:17An Independence Day celebration, for sure, and
06:21Native American Sataka looking to bring one to the win column for his side.
06:26Double J looking patriotic right now.
06:27He's got one-third of the colors.
06:29His face is red.
06:30He's embarrassed.
06:32Boy, he's holding on for dear life.
06:34Exactly.
06:34Double J's embarrassed because he hasn't looked good.
06:39Let's face it, Randy, this is some place you don't want to look bad.
06:42You don't want to end up with a pie in your face if you're embarrassed here.
06:45You're embarrassed all over the world, not to mention Pluto, Mars, and the Moon.
06:51Gaining control and holding on to win with his side headlock,
06:54Native American Sataka, Double J wants out of here, wants out of here bad.
06:58He can get universal exposure here, but it could be bad exposure, too.
07:02Downstairs in the red basket, that might just shake him loose.
07:05Irish whipping, leap frog.
07:07Good leap frog by Double J.
07:08And another one, but no, Sataka stopped getting in tracks.
07:11I'll tell you what, a lot of the energy has seeped out of Double J right now.
07:15Oh, look at that.
07:17That'll help.
07:17That'll buy him some time right there.
07:19And maybe Double J can knock out some of the cobwebs.
07:24Just like a rocket, Sataka went flying and dropping about eight feet down
07:29to the concrete.
07:30Tell you what, the conditioning factor right now taking effect.
07:33But you've got to watch the referees count right now.
07:36And Double J spending too much time on the outside of the ring.
07:39Double J circling around, look out, another double ax handle.
07:43Sataka in trouble.
07:44Shows what I know, it turned out to be a good move for Double J.
07:48Now both men out on the concrete here for quite some time.
07:52Look at how ready he is as he continues to punish that lower back and
07:56kidney area.
07:58Double J smells victory.
08:01He smells a victory over Native American Sataka right here on Monday Night Raw.
08:05And he is relentless, just like you said before.
08:08It is gut check time indeed for the Native American.
08:13Double J with another double ax handle.
08:15Notice how he's staying in the small of the back right there.
08:17He heard it before, and he's smart enough to stay on the part of the body that's
08:21already worn down.
08:22Boy, he's not a dummy, that's for sure.
08:25Something more intelligent than a dummy, you're right.
08:28Slip right underneath that bottom rope once again to break that count.
08:31Notice he almost got counted out right there.
08:33Very close.
08:35Could have been a double count out right there, close encounter.
08:37Well, I don't think, Randy,
08:39that either man would have been satisfied with that result.
08:41Not at all, because they put too much time into trying to take the reputation
08:45from the other guy.
08:47Sataka caught him on the way down.
08:49This is gonna be a good one right here.
08:51A body pervert going on to the outside of the ring.
08:53Sataka exploding with those chops.
08:56Right here in front of us.
08:57Look out.
08:59The last split second, Sataka pushed off into the steel post.
09:03If Double J gets back into the ring, that could have been a turning point of
09:05the match because Sataka's barely moving.
09:08There it is.
09:09The bell has rung here.
09:11Has someone made it back in?
09:12Did Double J make it?
09:14I think he did, Double J.
09:15The winner of this bout, as a result of a count out, Double J.
09:20Holy mackerel.
09:21My fears are true.
09:22I didn't wanna be right, but Double J just beat Sataka, and
09:25he gets the win right here on Monday Night Raw.
09:28I thought he'd be a little happier.
09:30He doesn't look like a winner, though, does he?
09:31No, he doesn't.
09:32And he never did to me.
09:33Native American Sataka- Sataka music.
09:37Maybe he'll sing.
09:38Referee, you listen up, and everybody else listen up.
09:41I didn't come all the way up here to New York City to beat Sataka's stinking
09:46brains out and not get a one, two, three.
09:49I always win my matches, and I win them fair and square.
09:53Randy Savage, you might take a victory like this, but
09:57Double J doesn't wanna disappoint on his fans.
10:00Wait a minute, Randy, just stop, wait, wait a minute, Randy.
10:04Don't lie, Randy, don't let this guy get to you.
10:08He's not a liar, what's he trying to say?
10:11Well, just consider the shards, Randy.
10:14Right now, restart it, restart it.
10:19They're starting to match Gorilla right now.
10:21I don't know what Double J's problem is, but
10:23he's got a problem with how Sataka solves it.
10:25Look, he's scared, he's scared.
10:28Who knows what's gonna happen?
10:29We'll be back.
10:32Sataka with a couple of elbows, downstairs in the red basket.
10:37Ducks underneath that chopper tab.
10:39Didn't miss that one.
10:41Well, this match is continuing.
10:43That Double J's insistence could be a big mistake, Randy.
10:46I got some mixed emotions about it.
10:48Almost a near pin right there.
10:51But Double J's singling me out for whatever reason, I don't know.
10:54But I'm telling you right now, I'm for Sataka, but I'll give Double J credit.
10:58Pretty tenacious move to go to bat against Sataka again.
11:02Well, I want to compliment you on the way you handled yourself, Randy.
11:05But I think it's a big mistake on the part of Double J.
11:08Had a victory in hand, should have taken it.
11:11And the winner sharing the first money and got the heck out of here.
11:14I showed I got a lot of patience and I'm not even a doctor.
11:18Reverse chin lock here by Double J.
11:20Native American getting another opportunity to chop one up in the win column
11:25here on Monday Night Raw.
11:26And it still looks good for Double J, which doesn't sit too well with me.
11:31Well, you picked him the winner.
11:33Yeah, but I wish I could lose now.
11:36Well, you're entitled.
11:38Another elbow downstairs, one more in the bread basket.
11:41Sataka off the ropes.
11:42Well, what a feeble attempt that was.
11:44It's a sleeper.
11:45I hope Sataka puts a betty by.
11:47It's a man's prerogative to change his mind and I hope Sataka wins.
11:51Double J rams him right back into the corner, into the turnbuckle.
11:55Down in that lower back area that was injured so badly earlier on.
12:00Sataka looks a little groggy now.
12:01Well, he certainly does.
12:03Hammered again.
12:04Wow, what a clothesline by Double J.
12:06Notice that Double J followed through with that clothesline and
12:09this could be the deciding pitfall right- One, two, no.
12:12I'll tell you- Close but no cigar.
12:13Right now, you gotta say it's pretty much even.
12:16Oh, there he goes, Randy.
12:18Wasting valuable time.
12:19I'll tell you what, maybe he's got second thoughts about not taking that victory and
12:22going back to Nashville.
12:24Well, I'm sure he's thinking about it.
12:26He wants the winner's share, the purse money.
12:30At what cost, though?
12:31That's what's important.
12:32Look foolish if he didn't win this one right now.
12:34Big dunk down, but he puts a sleeper on Sataka now.
12:38Turn around, fair play, of course.
12:41Native American needs to get out of this.
12:44He's got it right in the center of the ring.
12:46Could be deep trouble for Sataka.
12:49Native American Sataka right now is not looking strong.
12:53He looks like he's going down and he looks like he's going out.
12:56Hey, ref, take a look.
12:57Stick your hand in there.
12:59Looked like that forearm, Randy, was underneath the chin.
13:01I don't think so.
13:02I think that the sleeper's been properly applied.
13:08But you might be right.
13:10He's fading.
13:12He might be fading into la-la land right now and I'd hate to see that.
13:16Native American Sataka fading here with this beautiful sleeper being
13:21applied by Double J.
13:23You think maybe his daddy taught him that one, Randy?
13:26One of the greatest matches on Monday Night Raw I've seen, and
13:28I'm going to tell you something right now.
13:30I think he's got second thoughts about restarting this match.
13:35He should have taken the victory.
13:36He got over Native American Sataka and went home.
13:39Hey, sometimes you're absolutely right.
13:41If you got a bird in a hand, it's worth two in the bush.
13:44Exactly.
13:45Only moments ago, we saw our colleagues, Andrew Cohn, Carlos Cabrera,
13:50as we present the first ever simulcast here in the WWF in conjunction with
13:55the USA Network.
13:56If you folks got that little button on your set,
13:59you could listen either in Spanish or English.
14:02Yeah.
14:03And you are quite adverse in the Spanish, Randy.
14:06I am bilingual.
14:07Oye, ¿quién es ese chico, gorila, su amigo mÃo?
14:12Otra vez en inglés.
14:14Wait a minute, I have to get my little book on here.
14:17In the meantime, all that art just came down.
14:20Native American Sataka, it's about lights out time.
14:23Oh, no, wait a minute.
14:25He's- What is all about right here?
14:28Sataka reaching back.
14:30Does he have it?
14:32Couple of elbows downstairs in the red basket.
14:34Oh, I thought that went by his way out, but no.
14:36Oh, that's a mistake.
14:38Double J obviously didn't do his homework.
14:41This is just a wake-up call for the Native American.
14:44Yeah, but he might be doing some summer school right here,
14:47because if you don't do your homework,
14:48hey, you got to pay the price.
14:50Oh, reverse right back to the tomahawk.
14:52And another one, Double J down.
14:55Definitely turning out to be the one of the all-time great
14:57matches on Monday Night Raw.
14:58We've seen a bunch of them.
14:59Hooks the leg to end.
15:00Oh, I thought it was over.
15:02Well, I'll tell you what, they fooled me on that one.
15:04Double J right there looked like he was out,
15:06looked like he was going to take that three count,
15:07but he got his shoulder up.
15:09Oh, reversal.
15:10Look at this.
15:11Sataka, last split second, bringing that foot up.
15:15The pendulum has swung again.
15:17DDT.
15:19Double J landed on his stomach right there.
15:21He's got to turn him over.
15:22Here's the count. One, two, no.
15:25Unfortunately, if Double J would have landed on his back
15:27right there, I think Sataka would have got the victory.
15:29Double J wisely rolling out, but Sataka right on his case.
15:33Double J trying to take a hiatus.
15:36Tomahawk chops, finding the mark.
15:38And Double J is back inside once again.
15:40Sataka smelling victory right now.
15:42Native American going all the way up.
15:46Top turnbuckle.
15:47Double J doesn't see him, doesn't have a clue.
15:50Oh, beautiful Tomahawk chop.
15:52That should just about do it for Double J.
15:56Oh, no, look at that foot on the ropes.
15:58What tremendous ring presence.
15:59I'm disappointed in Merle Haggard and Charlie Daniels
16:02and everybody else at Music City.
16:04Those country-western phenomenons.
16:06They're hoping that Sataka beats Double J, too.
16:09Well, Double J claiming victory.
16:12Gorilla look behind Double J.
16:14It's Dink.
16:15Yes, it's Dink barring the way, or will he bar the way?
16:18You better watch out.
16:19Double J kidnapped him.
16:20Wait a minute.
16:22Oh, no.
16:24Oh, here comes Doink.
16:26Just in time.
16:27Doink with the bucket.
16:28Gonna splash him.
16:29The bucket's full of something.
16:31Double J's all wet anyway.
16:32Sataka rolls him up.
16:34Yes, he got him.
16:34Got a count.
16:35Got a three count right there.
16:37Holy mackerel.
16:38Here is your winner, Tone Upskull.
16:43An incredible ending to an incredible match.
16:46What a fantastic matchup here on Monday Night Raw.
16:51Couple of happy clowns on the outside of the ring, Gorilla.
16:54Well, Double J got to be beside himself.
16:56Had the victory early around, and this one
16:59gave it away to walk away undefeated.
17:03The World Wrestling Federation Championship,
17:06the most coveted title in the world.
17:12Bret Hitman Hart, the fighting champion,
17:15a veteran performer who has held every title in the WWF.
17:19Now he faces a challenge where his latest opponent
17:22is also his friend.
17:25The one, two, three kick.
17:26He entered the WWF with a surprising victory
17:30against Razor Ramon.
17:32Since then, he has proven time and again
17:34that he has what it takes to reach the top.
17:38Bret Hart battles the one, two, three kick
17:40for the WWF Championship next week on Monday Night Raw.
17:46What a feature that's going to be next week,
17:48right here on Monday Night Raw.
17:50But coming up next, it is the one, two, three
17:53kick in a different setting, the King's Court.
17:58Well, it's time for another edition of the King's Court.
18:02And I know you peons couldn't be happier, right?
18:05Boy, it didn't take him long to get over that apology, did it?
18:08Ha ha ha ha.
18:11You see, we must all have bad taste.
18:15Because you don't like me, and I do like you.
18:17Ha ha ha ha.
18:18You guys should have been suspended.
18:20Just kidding.
18:22I'm not going to be suspended.
18:24Just kidding.
18:26I want to bring somebody out here right now
18:29that it should be very, very interesting to speak to.
18:33Because you see, next Monday night, right here on Raw,
18:38this young gentleman has a chance
18:41to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion.
18:48Now, I know it's going to be pretty surprising.
18:51But it's a surprise to me that he's even
18:53in the World Wrestling Federation.
18:55I'm surprised he even got out of high school,
18:57because he was so thin in high school,
18:59the teacher kept marking him absent.
19:01Oh, please.
19:02And as a matter of fact, he's been pretty
19:05lucky in his matches lately.
19:07And I realize why.
19:09Because he carries two rabbit's feet at the end of his legs.
19:12Ha ha ha ha.
19:14You probably know by now, I'm talking about none other
19:17than the one, two, three kid.
19:23All the words in the world from the King, Jerry Lawler,
19:27are not going to stop this kid, the one, two, three kid.
19:31And has he mastered Monday Night Raw?
19:33Big names such as Razor Ramon, Ted DiBiase, Nikolai Volkov,
19:38the Quebecers, they have all fallen to the one, two, three
19:42kid here on Monday Night Raw.
19:43And now, Gorilla, he has an opportunity
19:46to reach up into the air and grab that brass ring,
19:49the World Wrestling Federation title.
19:52And already, I agree with you.
19:53I think the word lucky has been overworked here.
19:56When you get by guys with names like that, that's not luck.
19:59First of all, let me tell you something.
20:01Don't worry about the adoration of the fans.
20:04These people are imbecilic idiots.
20:06And if you worry about trying to please them,
20:09you'll just be a loser all your life.
20:11So don't even worry about waving and all of this kind of stuff,
20:14because it means nothing.
20:16What does mean something is the fact
20:19that next Monday night, right here on Raw, you, the one,
20:23two, three kid, have the chance of a lifetime.
20:27You have the opportunity to beat Bret the Hitman Hart
20:31and put the gold around your waist.
20:35Now, I want to tell you this.
20:37I want to tell you something right now.
20:40I know that I have made fun of you in the past,
20:43but I promise you this.
20:45Next Monday night, I'm going to be pulling for you.
20:48I want you to go out there and beat Bret the Hitman Hart,
20:53because I hate his stinking guts.
20:55And that's the attitude you got to have.
20:57Go in there and beat him like the dog that he is.
21:00Can you do that?
21:02First off, Mr. Lawler,
21:03I want to get one thing straight right now.
21:05I don't hate Mr. Bret Hart.
21:08Matter of fact, I'm one of Bret Hart's biggest fans.
21:10In my opinion, Bret Hart is the best wrestler in the world today.
21:14I like it.
21:19Let me just say this.
21:22With an attitude like that, you will not win the title.
21:26You will not beat Bret the Hitman Hart.
21:28You know, I know you've pulled a lot of upsets in the past.
21:31You've beat a lot of guys.
21:32But Bret the Hitman Hart is the champion.
21:35You're going to have to take your fist,
21:37ball it up, hit him right in the nose.
21:39That's the only way you're going to be able to beat him.
21:41Mr. Lawler, I have too much respect for Bret Hart
21:45to resort to the type of things that you do.
21:49You know something?
21:51If I got to have an attitude like yours,
21:53I don't deserve to be WWF champion.
21:55I don't even deserve to be in this company.
21:58Wait a minute. Look for you, kid.
21:59Hold it.
22:00You don't understand.
22:01I'm pulling for you, kid.
22:03I want you to win.
22:04But you got to realize he's the champ.
22:06He's not going to fall for one of these goofy stunts of yours
22:09like if Nikolai Volkov,
22:10if you jump off the rope
22:11and try to pretend that you hurt your knee,
22:13he's going to slap that sharpshooter on you
22:15and you're going to be dog meat.
22:17You're going to have to beat him.
22:18You're going to have to hit him in the mouth.
22:19You're going to have to beat him that way.
22:21Come on, be a man. Tell me you'll do that.
22:23I'm not going to do it.
22:25I'm not going to do it, Mr. Lawler.
22:26One thing I am going to do, I'm going to go out there
22:29and give it 110% like I always do,
22:33and just maybe if luck's on my side,
22:38Bret the Hitman Hart might make a mistake
22:42and I might become the WWF champion.
22:44That's exactly right.
22:46I got chills on that one.
22:48Okay. Do it your way, one, two, three, kid.
22:52All I can say is next Monday night right here on Raw,
22:56you got the chance of a lifetime.
22:59You got a shot at Bret the Hitman Hart
23:02and I'm going to be pulling for you,
23:03so go out there and win that title for me, kid.
23:06Do it for me.
23:08If I win that title, it's not going to be for you.
23:12It's going to be for me.
23:13King didn't want to hear that.
23:15The one, two, three kid has grown up, Gorilla.
23:18He gets his diploma.
23:19I said I'm pulling for you.
23:21All of these, well, these idiots.
23:24There's going to be a lot of people pulling for you.
23:27Do it. Win the title.
23:29And go ahead, do it for me.
23:33I don't know how many times I got to tell you, Mr. Lawler.
23:36I'm not doing anything for you.
23:38If I do it, I'm doing it for me.
23:40And all these people out here,
23:42and all these people out here.
23:45Oh, yeah.
23:46What a tremendous attitude by the kid.
23:54The WWF Summer Sizzler Tour is burning its way
23:57through the country with action so hot,
23:59you got to wear shades.
24:01Next stop, this Thursday, U.S. Air Arena, Landover, Maryland.
24:05Friday, July 22nd, James L. Knight Center, Miami, Florida.

24:19Saturday, the 30th, Henry J. Kaiser Arena.
24:22Sunday, the 31st, Denver Coliseum.
24:25Monday, August 1st, Beegley Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
24:28Catch the wave of excitement
24:30as the WWF Summer Sizzler Tour comes to your town.
24:36WWF Summer Sizzler Tour is indeed hot.
24:39Speaking of sizzling, Denise Paglia,
24:41the Raw girl, is really hot.
24:45Well, those Mediterranean girls usually are, Randy.
24:48Put me on the back burner because I'm going to have to simmer.
24:51Here comes Double Trouble right here.
24:54The Maniac, Jim The Anvil, Nightheart,
24:58and the King of the Ring.
25:00The Rocket, Owen Hart.
25:02The King of Hearts is how he wants to be referred to
25:06and, boy, do I have trouble with that.
25:07For real, I got a question.
25:09He's the King of the Ring, no doubt about it,
25:11but where's his crown, where's his scepter,
25:13and where's his royal robe?
25:16Well, I don't know the answer to that, Randy.
25:19He's got all he needs with him right now,
25:21Jim The Anvil, Nightheart.
25:23We'll be back in a moment.
25:24Promotional consideration paid for by the following.
25:36Here we go.
25:37Bell has gone.
25:38This one's underway.
25:41Define that hold.
25:44Just a nasty hold, Macho Man.
25:47Uh-huh, dentists all over the world are in envy right now.
25:51Irish whip by The Anvil.
25:53Oh, look at the elevation on that head rub.
25:55The sky's the limit and space is the place.
25:58There's The Maniac, Jim The Anvil, Nightheart.
26:00I don't think he's going to get a whole lot of coverage
26:03I don't think he's going to get a whole lot of competition
26:07here on Monday Night Raw, but you can bet next weekend
26:10on WWF Challenge, he'll have his hands full.
26:13He's choking him up.
26:14He's choking him up.
26:16He's the guy that carried the Hart Foundation.
26:18Shut up!
26:19Look at what he's doing, and he doesn't need to, Bret.
26:22Did you hear the rocket in the outside of the ring?
26:24He's not the Lion King.
26:25He's the Lion King.
26:27Boy, he certainly is, reinforcing
26:29what Jim The Anvil, Nightheart, said last week on the King's Court
26:33that he carried, literally carried, the Hitman.
26:37What a great match next week.
26:38The 1, 2, 3 Kid versus Bret the Hitman Hart.
26:41Wow, what a turnbuckle for the WWF title.
26:44And did you know that Owen Hart is pulling for his brother, Bret,
26:48to keep the title against the 1, 2, 3 Kid next week?
26:51You know why, Gorilla?
26:53Yeah, I do know why.
26:54All right, why?
26:54He wants the title.
26:56Exactly, he wants the title, but he wants to beat Bret for it.
26:59You think he's got a problem, or what?
27:00He certainly does have a problem.
27:02I'll tell you what, though, Randy.
27:03I will be willing to bet that he and
27:05The Anvil will be on hand next week for that match.
27:08Well, that's something that I didn't even think about.
27:11Look at that power display by The Anvil Nightheart.
27:16Rams him into that second turnbuckle.
27:17Look at this, hooking the leg underneath the top turnbuckle.
27:22You know, it's a funny thing.
27:24The Rocket, compared to The Anvil, doesn't have any mental problems at all.
27:29No, not really.
27:30In perspective.
27:32Talk about guys not having both arms in the water.
27:35Boy, he's good at that, verbal insults.
27:38I've never seen a guy go to the top as fast as The Rocket has.
27:42Well, are we gonna see history repeat itself?
27:44Remember, when Bret the Hitman won the King of the Ring within one year,
27:49he became WWF champion.
27:52The Rocket Owen Hart worries about being in the shadow of Bret the Hitman.
27:56Hey, listen to the crowd.
27:57They're chanting, traitor!
28:00What evil lurks in the hearts of men?
28:02The shadow knows, and so do I.
28:05Well, and so does The Rocket Owen Hart.
28:08I can guarantee you that.
28:10They have completely alienated themselves from the Hart family.
28:13You're right, they've divided that family in two, and that's really, really sad.
28:16The Anvil looks in great shape, though, I gotta guarantee you that.
28:20Well, they are the black sheep, Randy.
28:22And let's face it, sooner or later, all sheep have to be sheared.
28:26Listen to The Rocket.
28:27He's the man that carried the Hart Foundation.
28:29I know because I carried my brother too.
28:32He's a loser.
28:33And if you got the guts, Bret, I'll beat you again.
28:35You're a liar.
28:36I see many problems in the face of Owen Hart.
28:39I'm worried about him psychologically.
28:41I think I should send him a bill since I'm a psychiatrist.
28:44Nobody ever had to carry Bret the Hitman Hart.
28:48If there were weak links, it was The Anvil.
28:51It was The Rocket Owen Hart, and not Bret the Hitman Hart.
28:55When you point a finger there, wow.
28:58There are three pointing back at you.
29:00Remember that forever, Gorilla.
29:02Absolutely.
29:03Anvil having it easy here.
29:11Check this out, Gorilla.
29:12The Rocket Owen Hart is trying to get Gary Scott to bow to him and
29:16possibly kiss his feet.
29:18Gary Scott's in all kinds of trouble here.
29:21He can't even get to his feet.
29:22The Rocket expects a lot, you know.
29:25Anvil gets him back inside underneath that bottom rope.
29:28Wants him back inside the squared circle.
29:32Look at this power display coming up here.
29:35Power slam, well executed.
29:37Forget about it.
29:38Good night, nerds.
29:39Big victory for The Anvil, Jim Night.
29:42I don't want this.
29:43Check this out.
29:45The Rocket and The Anvil together.
29:48And they think that they're the dominant force in the Hart family.
29:51What do you think, Gorilla?
29:53Well, they may just be that.
29:54They'll have to prove it to me.
29:56Chunk up one and a win column for The Anvil.
30:00Victory.
30:03Welcome back, everyone.
30:04And thank you all for joining us here on this holiday edition of Monday Night Raw.
30:10What's that beeping noise?
30:12That beeping noise, Macho Man, is the cautionary sound of the utility vehicle
30:18or the garbage truck backing up.
30:21Here's the man with the can, and he knows that he has no tan.
30:25But when he goes after Lawler, he better done ran.
30:29Well, you got that right.
30:30There was a few other adjectives I would have used, but you did it very well.
30:34Well, I picked the ones that looked good to me at the time that I was talking.
30:38You know, we had the apology from Jerry Lawler,
30:41but I don't think the dumpster was too happy about that.
30:45I didn't know he played a musical instrument.
30:48It's called a can-can.
30:50He's got the beat.
30:53He's going to settle things in his own way, he said.
30:56Now he's going to try to beat Mike Sharp.
30:58Better concentrate on what's going on in the press.
31:01Mike Sharp is no gimme.
31:02I'll give you that.
31:04By the way, congratulations, Gorilla, for being inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame.
31:07I think that because you are inducted, you should take me out to dinner and pay for it.
31:12Well, I'd be happy to do that, Randy.
31:14And thank you.
31:15Coming from you, that means a lot.
31:17Wow, look at that.
31:18These are two big guys going against each other,
31:20and I'll tell you, another big guy is sitting right next to me,
31:22and that's Gorilla Monsoon.
31:24Well, King Jerry Lawler forced to apologize
31:27by the officials of the World Wrestling Federation.
31:30He wasn't too happy about that, and oh, no.
31:32He was embarrassed.
31:34Trying to get the big guy up in a slam, but couldn't do it.
31:37That's how it's done.
31:38The Dukes are going to show you.
31:41Showing some power right now.
31:43You know, Randy, we're celebrating this Independence Day.
31:45Look at this.
31:48For one reason and one reason only,
31:50a long time ago, this country decided it would not be subservient to anyone.
31:55Exactly, and before Monday Night Raw went on the air,
31:58I talked to the Dumpster, and he said that he would like to throw Lawler overboard
32:03like they did in Boston at the Peapod.
32:06Well, right now, Randy, there's two kings, too many for my money.
32:09Hey, it's time to drop in the Dropout.
32:11Hey, I like it.
32:12Do it.
32:12All right.
32:14Thursday, a New York detective never meant to fall for his prime suspect,
32:18but now he's in over his head.
32:20El Pacino and Ellen Barkin star in a sea of love.
32:25The USA movie, Thursday night at 9, 8 central time.
32:30Can't wait for that one.
32:31Here we go.
32:32And we're not having a sea of love in the ring right now.
32:36Mike Sharp hammering away here at the Dumpster.
32:39Now he's going to ram him into the corner.
32:41No, a nice block.
32:43That didn't work.
32:44Oh, double block there.
32:46Oh, Sharp couldn't handle that one.
32:48Notice the Dumpster did it with two hands.
32:50Mike Sharp tried to throw him in with one.
32:52It's exception heading time.
32:57Who'd the Dumpster point at?
33:02Oh, he just pointed at the corner, Randy.
33:05I don't think he was pointing at you or me.
33:09He said, I'm going to show you ten more in the opposite corner.
33:13You're right.
33:13There's seven more corners to go, but I think my mat's a little off.
33:17I don't think we're dealing with an octagon here, Randy.
33:20No, I don't think we should.
33:23It's a family program.
33:25What an elbow that was right in his sternum.
33:28Dumpster in control of this one now.
33:30Oh, another elbow.
33:31That was a big elbow.
33:34That'll give you a negative attitude.
33:38Well, once again, Martina Navratilova
33:41trying to become ten-time winner of the Wimbledon.
33:44It didn't happen.
33:45You know what?
33:46You just don't know.
33:48That's why they have it.
33:51You don't mail in the scores.
33:53I think we should congratulate the winner.
33:55Yes.
33:56Chiquita, whatever her name is.
33:58Cochina, Banana, Gorilla, Monsoon.
34:00Well, that's good enough for me.
34:01Yes.
34:01A friend of yours, I'm sure.
34:03Congratulations to you as Mike here is blatantly choking.
34:09I'll tell you, if she wins eight more times in a row,
34:11we'll do her name.
34:12Absolutely.
34:15Oh, piledriver attempt coming up.
34:17Don't talk about it.
34:18Just do it.
34:20He can't get it.
34:22It's just too much bottom weight here.
34:24Nice turnaround here by the Dumpster.
34:28Dumpster looking to pick up some garbage right about now.
34:32I'm sure that he can't wait until he
34:34gets his hands on Jerry Lawler.
34:37Oh, nice reversal.
34:39Well, he telegraphed that move, Randy.
34:40Yes, he did.
34:41Western Union all the way.
34:44Wow, that's a whole handful to get up in the air like that.
34:48Oh, it's time to take it out.
34:51Showing a little expression.
34:55High elbow drop nails him.
34:57Hooks the leg.
34:57One, two, good night.
34:59I think I'm going to call that the high spinning
35:01elbow with a direct hit.
35:06Very impressive victory indeed for Duke, the Dumpster Drosy.
35:11Oh, wait a minute.
35:12We got to listen to Moneybags.
35:16Coming up next, My Undertaker.
35:23Dad, look.
35:24It's Bret the Hitman Hart.
35:26You have to be quiet, son.
35:27He's getting ready for the big match.
35:32Bret!
35:37Go get him, champ.
35:58Wow.
36:06There's the ominous toning of the bell.
36:15It's not rock and roll music, but we like it.
36:21We are awaiting the latest acquisition
36:24of the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase.
36:28Still doesn't sound right.
36:30The man from Death Valley, weighs 320 pounds.
36:35Where is he?
36:36I don't see him, Randy.
36:37Oh, maybe he's not going to be here.
36:40Oh, there he is.
36:41Oh, Mickey, there he is.
36:43Wow.
36:45Six foot 11.
36:46You might as well say 17.
36:47From OJC, New York, weighing 249 pounds, Mike Bell.
36:55If I hadn't have seen him with my own eyes,
36:57I would never have believed it.
36:59Anybody else scared of the dark?
37:00I am.
37:02I'll tell you what, I thought earlier on, Randy,
37:04I saw Paul Bearer wandering around.
37:06I was going to thank you for holding my hand,
37:08but I just realized I'm holding my hand.
37:10You are.
37:13What an ominous figure this gentleman is.
37:17And what he brings to the corporation
37:20is just unbelievable.
37:23What kind of a conglomerate is he putting together here,
37:25Randy?
37:26Nothing less than a powerhouse conglomerate.
37:29Oh, boy.
37:30Nikolai Volkov, Bam Bam Bigelow, and The Undertaker.
37:34And who knows?
37:35Perhaps Lex Luger.
37:38This makes the merger between CBS and QVC
37:41look a little bit minute at this particular time.
37:46Got a bottomless source of wealth,
37:49but not all that deep between the ears.
37:52A lot of people think that Ted DiBiase,
37:54the Million Dollar Man, is a bottomless pit of money,
37:57but I know that that doesn't happen with anybody.
38:01Well, he came on to All-American,
38:03and for who knows how much, bought off Johnny Polo.
38:07$0.14, if you will, and I think you overpaid him.
38:14DiBiase definitely in control here.
38:19Ooh, look at that look on that kisser.
38:21Would you say that was a little eerie?
38:25What brought him to this point, Gorilla?
38:27Money?
38:28Really?
38:28Is it money?
38:29I didn't think The Undertaker even cared about money.
38:31Well, you know, Randy, if we go back in history just a little bit,
38:34it was originally The Million Dollar Man
38:35who brought The Undertaker here to the World Wrestling Federation.
38:39That part of history I chose to forget,
38:41but now that you brought it up, I remember that.
38:45And then sold him to Mr. Fuji for a lot of yen.
38:49Fuji turned him over to Brother Love,
38:51and eventually, Paul Bearer ended up with him.
38:53Oh, no, look at that.
38:55Undertaker's changed teams more than Fernando Valenzuela.
38:58Kind of like a man without a country.
39:00Well, Fernando now making his home in the city of brotherly love,
39:03the Cradle of Liberty, Philadelphia.
39:05Think he'll be there for more than 14 days?
39:08Lucky to sign, I understand, at his age.
39:10Uh-huh, who you talking to?
39:12Oh, Fernando.
39:13Okay, I don't want to feel self-conscious about anything.
39:16Mike Bell getting hammered here by The Undertaker.
39:19Irish whip in, ducks underneath that one, luckily.
39:22Oh, but didn't escape that beautiful leg trip.
39:23What agility for a big seven-footer, Randy.
39:26Man, what a reach on this Undertaker.
39:28He's incredible.
39:29Every time I see him, he's even more incredible than the time before.
39:32And look at The Million Dollar Man's eyes.
39:34I can see them from here.
39:35And those are dollar signs in his eyes.
39:38Oh, are they ever.
39:40With the right picture and the right president.
39:44Big body slam by The Undertaker.
39:46Where's Paul Bearer, Gorilla?
39:48I thought he was going to show up here.
39:49Exactly.
39:50I'm very surprised.
39:51Here's The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase, looking at his acquisition.
39:54The Undertaker, big elbow.
39:56Whoa!
39:58What a shot that was by The Undertaker.
40:00DiBiase, obviously, in seventh heaven,
40:03just with the thought of being able to sign a guy like Lex Luger.
40:07Well, what do you think?
40:09I don't think so.
40:10I don't think so either.
40:11I don't think he's got that- I'm not just copying your thoughts.
40:13I don't think he's got that kind of money.
40:14Well, you think that he does have a price?
40:16Lex Luger's got a price?
40:17Or do you think that he's above reproach or beyond reproach?
40:20He may be above it.
40:22Above it and beyond.
40:23Absolutely.
40:24Thank you very much, Lexus, my friend.
40:27Talk about guys with integrity.
40:28Oh, look at this agility here on the part of The Undertaker.
40:31Walked the high wire one time.
40:33Wow.
40:34Seen him do it before.
40:38Hammered him right on the back of the neck.
40:43Nailed him on the external occipital protuberance.
40:46I don't have one on my body, so he couldn't do that to me.
40:49Yeah, we all got one, Randy.
40:51It's back there somewhere.
40:52Well, if I don't know where it is, then he can't get it.
40:56Blatantly choking now over the top rope.
40:59Referee right on it.
41:00Oh, turned right on the referee.
41:01Gotta be careful.
41:03I'll tell you what, the referee showed that he's got some smarts.
41:05He took about five steps backwards.
41:08Don't want to get in the way of this guy.
41:11Very close to becoming disqualified.
41:13I'm gonna give Mike Bell a lot of credit for just getting in the ring with The Undertaker.
41:17Sends him in for the ride.
41:18Oh, beautiful flying clothesline.
41:20Patented clothesline by The Undertaker.
41:22Nobody doesn't like that.
41:27Ibiasi sensing that this is the beginning of the end.
41:30He is ecstatic.
41:31He's gloating, and I hate him when he's happy.
41:34I get no vicarious thrill through his happiness.
41:40Bell lucky to get back to his feet.
41:43Uh-oh, here it comes.
41:45Tombstone city.
41:47Mike's smell is gonna get tombstone.
41:50Well, I just thought of that when it happened.
41:52Think about it.
41:54Folks, this one is history.
41:55It is over.
41:57You do not get up from that.
42:00Could've if he would've kicked out.
42:03But I don't think it would've happened either.
42:05Obviously, because The Undertaker's the winner.
42:09A very ecstatic Ted DiBiase.
42:12Oh, wait a minute, it is Paul Bearer.
42:16This is gonna be more than interesting.
42:20As the body bag comes out, Ted DiBiase has not spotted Paul Bearer yet.
42:26Neither has The Undertaker.
42:30What history here.
42:31Paul Bearer making his way ever closer and closer to the ring.
42:37Uh-oh.
42:39Is this chilling or is this chilling?
42:42Undertaker has just spotted him.
42:46And now DiBiase has to.
42:48How could you tell?
42:50Nightmare City coming up.
42:51DiBiase can't stand this.
42:56He is being entranced here by Paul Bearer.
43:00Undertaker took a couple of steps toward Paul Bearer.
43:05Your call's as good as mine right here.
43:06Look at Paul Bearer.
43:07He's banking.
43:09Look at DiBiase.
43:10He's not very happy now.
43:12Uh-oh.
43:13That's what I wanted to see.
43:15Too much to hope for, but it's happening right now.
43:18He might not have control.
43:20Don't let him talk his way out of this.
43:22The Undertaker's gonna take Ted DiBiase and take his money and
43:26throw him all the way to somewhere other than here.
43:30Well, who knows what's gonna happen here.
43:33We apologize.
43:34We're gonna have to bail out of here, but only for a moment.
43:38Can't believe it.
43:39Promotional consideration paid for by the following.
43:42I always like to keep my favorite snack handy.
43:48Need a little excitement?
43:49Step into a Slim Jim.
43:50Oh, yeah.
43:54We're back and DiBiase obviously in trouble.
43:57Trying to find a way out.
43:58Wait a minute.
43:59This is how he gets out of trouble.
44:01I can't believe The Undertaker cares about this.
44:04He finds his way out with a Mulan.
44:07Check his head turn.
44:11Doesn't look like he's actually grabbing it.
44:14Hey.
44:15There he goes.
44:17Paul Bearer has got the edge.
44:22Million dollar man beside himself.
44:24Cut this dancer with a knife.
44:27The electricity is in the air.
44:29And I'm shocked.
44:31He's getting more money out.
44:35Obviously, he hasn't reached his point yet.
44:38I don't understand this at all.
44:41Look at that.
44:42The Undertaker's interested in the money, the amount of money.
44:45Got a fistful of hundreds there.
44:47It's not what The Undertaker's all about.
44:51Paul Bearer can't believe it.
44:55Undertaker has turned towards the grief.
44:57It's not right.
44:59This in particular, not what The Undertaker's all about.
45:03Being enticed by the million dollar man and his money.
45:08Paul Bearer's convinced.
45:09Look at that.
45:10This is sad.
45:12Chuck this one up as a loss for Paul Bearer.
45:16Million dollar man Ted DiBiase and his money has done it again.
45:20I am nothing less than flabbergasted.
45:24Well, I understand that the King Jerry Lawler is waiting back in the locker room
45:28area to get a hold of DiBiase.
45:30Welcome back everyone to more Monday Night Raw on this 4th of July celebration.
45:37Another great Monday Night Raw.
45:38Nothing less than I expected.
45:41Wait a minute.
45:42We're gonna go back into the locker room area where apparently,
45:45Jerry Lawler has caught up with the million dollar man.
45:49Million dollar man, hold on a minute.
45:50Come on, he's getting away.
45:52Come on.
45:53Million dollar man, I wanna ask a big favor of you.
45:56Would you, that was a great win for you and the Undertaker.
45:58Would you mind doing me a tremendous favor and
46:01be my guest next week on the King's Court?
46:04Jerry, out there in front of all those peons, I mean, you know.
46:07All right, I'll tell you what I'll do.
46:10It's never been done before.
46:11Just for you, for the million dollar man, I'll come to you.
46:13You tell me where to be, I'll be there.
46:15We don't have to get in front of those idiots.
46:17Well, King, I'm used to being in the presence of royalty.
46:19It would be my pleasure.
46:21I'll be there.
46:21Okay, you just tell me where.
46:23You heard it, next week on the King's Court, the million dollar man.
46:26I'm a little confused, Randy.
46:28Where are these guys gonna be next week?
46:29I don't have enough time to straighten you out, Gorilla, but
46:32I can only speculate.
46:33But I gotta tell you, I don't know.
46:35It'll be anticipation and pandemonium as usual next week here on Monday Night Raw.
46:41Happy 4th of July.
46:42See you next week, yeah.
46:44Good night, everybody.
