00:00What are the priorities of the Sustainable Development Goals?
00:06The priorities are social sustainability,
00:08so thinking about the well-being of those who are currently there,
00:12and environmental sustainability,
00:14so thinking about the well-being of those who will be there,
00:16this can determine positive results for economic sustainability.
00:20This principle is applied with an action plan,
00:23which I have summarized in an acronym, which is TUNC.
00:26We have the first letter, which is time.
00:29It must have quality, it must have dignity,
00:32and this is achieved with actions aimed at the organization,
00:35at the achievement and enhancement of this organization,
00:39also in terms of environment,
00:41with continuous training and with a work-life balance
00:45also achieved through smart working and other forms.
00:49The second letter is TUNC, which is humanity,
00:51which means listening and sharing.
00:53This is essential to find the moments when to listen to people.
00:57People must be listened to to be motivated.
01:01The third letter is N, which is that of nature,
01:05that which belongs to us.
01:07In this case, I would like to expose the whole rhetoric
01:10that exists in the environment, in nature at the moment,
01:12especially from instrumentalizations
01:15that tend to gain votes or sell more.
01:17We must take concrete, real actions,
01:19because we humans will not die,
01:21but the Earth will, and it will be our cause if this happens.
01:24What are these actions?
01:26Reducing emissions, of course, and this can be done.
01:29In our company we have electrified 95% of the production process.
01:34Reducing consumption, this can also be done.
01:38We have reduced our consumption by 40%.
01:41Think of a glass factory that consumes electricity
01:44like a municipality of 20,000 inhabitants.
01:47And at the same time, working with raw materials and processes
01:50that lead to the maximum recycling of the products that are used.
01:54The last letter of the TUNC is C.
01:56For me, the most important is that of change.
01:59In an era like the current one,
02:01in which we cannot even predict the weather conditions,
02:04it is very difficult to do so in the economic sphere.
02:07So we must be very ready for change.
02:10Indeed, we must determine change,
02:12which is important to do.
02:14We must do it not in a morbid way looking for balance,
02:18because balance often does not exist, especially in this moment,
02:21but trying to manage the imbalance.
02:24What are the actions in this case?
02:26To have great humility, always a desire to learn,
02:29to have great curiosity, which is what moves the world and everything,
02:33and at the same time to have partnership,
02:36that is, to understand that alone we cannot do everything we have to do.
02:40All this converges in always feeling like students and never like teachers.
