00:00Morning Sheffield. I hope you're alright today. It's Alistair from the Sheffield Star. I'm
00:04speaking to you on a frightfully wet and drizzly Monday. That is September 23rd. Many of you
00:11will be waking up today to pretty miserable weather. It's going to be probably raining
00:15even harder than it was yesterday on Sunday. There is an amber weather warning in place
00:20today until 9pm. This is September 23rd as I say. What does that mean? There's going
00:25to be some pretty heavy, heavy rain probably around the midday area I should say. It's
00:30going to be raining all day at this sort of level. If you look out the window today it's
00:33just sort of mizzling at the minute. But it'll rain the hardest at around midday when this
00:37really nasty band of rain will be moving from the eastward direction over Worksop towards
00:42us. It's going to hit Worksop quite hard but it should peter out by the time it reaches
00:46Sheffield is the idea. There should be some disruption I imagine. There's probably going
00:49to be an impact on traffic. There's always the chance of power cuts and that sort of
00:54thing as far as weather warnings go. Currently there are no flood warnings in place for Sheffield
00:59though or Rotherham. There are some maybe some high, the rivers are getting a bit high
01:04maybe the Woodhouse Mills kind of area. But other than that the rivers are handling it
01:08quite well as well. So no flood warnings in place. Miserable rain all day long. Probably
01:13going to hit the hardest around 12pm. Weather warning will be over by around 9pm or so and
01:18we should be able to get through the day together.
