08:07From the 12 months that Allah has given us at that time,
08:124 of them are called as Haram months.
08:17From the last discussion, we have learned that those months are 3 consecutive months,
08:23starting from the month of Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram,
08:27and 1 month is between Jamadithani and Cha'ban, which is called as Rajab month.
08:35These 4 months are designated by Allah SWT as Haram months,
08:42where there are specific laws from Allah about this month,
08:48such as prohibition or prohibition for us to do more good deeds in it,
08:55and prohibit us from doing bad deeds to Allah SWT,
09:01such as spilling blood or fighting,
09:05which is also prohibited in those months.
09:09There is a restriction from Allah SWT for this community,
09:15which is that the 4 Haram months are for the sake of achieving security,
09:20so that people can continue their lives,
09:23compared to the 4 Haram months,
09:28which are for the sake of spilling blood,
09:30so that people have no time to feel secure,
09:32especially for the people of Jahiliyyah,
09:35who are known as blood spillers.
09:38However, we know that the people who live in this Jahiliyyah,
09:44among their bad character,
09:46which Allah has mentioned,
09:48will do whatever it takes to change their character.
09:53It might happen to some people today as well.
09:57What Allah has commanded is what is to be left behind,
10:01and what Allah has forbidden is what some people want to do.
10:06Therefore, in the context of Allah's prohibitions,
10:11and the commandments related to these Haram months,
10:15there is an evil deed that was done by polytheists a while ago,
10:21and here Allah SWT affirms that whatever they have done,
10:27it is something that adds to their disbelief,
10:32after that disbelief.

14:47So, for the questions that we have faced earlier,
14:50what has been done by the polytheists
14:54is something that is highly
14:57praised by Allah and included in the things that are counted as
15:01an addition to their disbelief as well as from their disbelief.
15:05A while ago, the Jahiliyyah community, especially the polytheists of Quraysh
15:09and those who live together in their community, were known as those who like to go to war.
15:16Where do they like to go to war?
15:19Among the traditions of the Jahiliyyah since the time of the Prophet SAW,
15:25they have a policy
15:27which is that they will stop going to war
15:29no matter what happens to them for the next 4 unlawful months,
15:33as we have stated earlier.
15:36But,
15:37what is said about their greed to spill blood and do things that they themselves
15:43originally agreed upon,
15:46which is that there cannot be a spill of blood that is forbidden during those 4 months.
15:52From whatever they have agreed upon, it is they themselves who have changed it.
15:58Even what Allah SWT has made part of the Islamic Shari'ah after the presence of the Prophet Muhammad SAW,
16:08to preserve what is good in the practice of the Jahiliyyah community
16:12to be passed on to the human race,
16:15which is the respect that must be given to these 4 months.
16:20However, the polytheists,
16:21due to the bad habits that they have become accustomed to,
16:24which is their madness and their greed to see
16:28the spill of blood for the sake of power and the wealth that they want to have,
16:33causing them to spill whatever they had originally agreed upon.
16:39And it is a part of the Shari'ah that Allah SWT has determined,
16:45which is the preservation of those 4 unlawful months.
16:47They so easily instigate it by delaying their time.
16:56For example, we say,
16:57in the calculation of the Islamic months,
16:59we have the month of Dhul-Qa'dah, the month of Dhul-Hijjah,
17:02which will be on the dates that we know.
17:05But because they want to achieve the maturity of the war that they started,
17:11if that war is forced to be stopped because of the suddenness of those unlawful months,
17:17it may cause the maturity of the war that they started before that time will be lost.
17:25People say that when they are about to win,
17:28suddenly the time is off.
17:29It's like when you are playing football,
17:31you are about to shoot the ball into the goal post,
17:35suddenly the referee blows the whistle and it's a goal.
17:39So at that time,
17:41there are some of the Arab people who started their tradition
17:46to instigate their will to delay this time.
17:49And this action is recorded in the narration
17:52by a man named Huzaifah bin Abdi Nu'im,
17:57or Abdi Fuqaim,
17:59in another narration about him.
18:03He was the one who started the idea
18:06to instigate their will to delay those months.
18:12It's like we are making our own calendar.
18:15The calendar is already there.
18:17The month of Dhul-Qa'dah will be on the dates of this and that,
18:20the month of Dhul-Hijjah on this and that,
18:21the month of Muharram on this and that,
18:23the month of Rajab on this and that.
18:24So in order to achieve the purpose of the war,
18:27they instigated it.
18:29They made what was haram at that time,
18:33which is spilling blood,
18:35but with what they instigated from that date,
18:38they made it halal.
18:41For example, let's say in the month of Ramadhan,
18:44it's haram for us to eat,
18:45but for those who are crazy about eating,
18:47they say we instigate the month of Ramadhan to be the month of Shawwal.
18:51It's okay, let's eat first.
18:52So this is what happened in the life of the Jahiliyyah community.
18:56It started from the courage of a man,
18:59not the actual courage,
19:00I'm sorry,
19:01the ignorance of a man changed the attitude of Allah SWT
19:05to instigate the month of Dhul-Qa'dah to be delayed from its date,
19:09so that when the actual Dhul-Qa'dah comes,
19:12they can still continue their madness against this war.
19:17And at that time, of course,
19:18in fact, they broke the rules from Allah.
19:23And at the same time, they didn't just make those prohibitions,
19:27they even committed a bigger sin,
19:30which is they changed the Shari'ah of Allah
19:33which is mentioned in this verse,
19:35which is what is called as annasi.
19:38The word annasi is
19:40postponing,
19:41delaying the time from the appointed time,
19:45to make the month of Dhul-Qa'dah to be delayed from the appointed time.
19:49So this is what Allah called as ziyadatun fil-kufr,
19:53their actions,
19:54breaking the rules of Allah SWT,

20:42To the extent that the date of the appointed time,
20:45they did not make it a year,
20:47they even made it in different years, according to their preferences.
20:52If they felt that only that year,
20:55they needed more time,
20:56or needed more time for the war to continue,
21:00then they changed the date,
21:02and then,
21:04if next year, the war was not returned to the original date.
21:08It's easy, isn't it?
21:09To make a calendar,
21:10we say it's difficult to unite all people on the same date,
21:14but there are some people who do not respect
21:16what is said to be a date that is not appropriate for human interest,
21:20but it is the interest of Allah,
21:22who knows more about the perfect time arrangement for humans.
21:26Why that month?
21:27It is determined by Dhul-Qa'adah,
21:29so it must be followed by the rules contained within it,
21:32so that it is not appropriate to involve in the arrangement of these forbidden months,
21:38and it also involves another law,
21:41which involves the worship of a human being,
21:43which is called the worship of Hajj,
21:44because the worship of Hajj takes place in the month of Dhul-Hijjah,
21:47not in the month of Dhul-Qa'adah,
21:50which will be involved in the arrangement of worship,
21:53which is the work of Hajj itself.
21:55Imagine if we say,
21:56if we say that the Hajj that takes place in the month of Dhul-Hijjah,
