00:00Some of the points that have been mentioned by Allah SWT through Surah At-Tawbah is something that needs to be paid attention to,
00:28especially when it comes to the relationship between Muslims and others, especially those who are enemies of Muslims.
00:37What steps must be taken by Muslims in these situations?
00:42This is what we will see in today's discussion.
00:45Let's continue with My Quran Time, Quran Salat and Infah.
00:58O Lord of the worlds!
01:11I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
01:16O you who believe!
01:25The polytheists are only impure, so let them not approach the Sacred Mosque after their year.
01:54And if you fear a family, then Allah will avail you of His bounty.
02:23Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.
02:53In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
02:54Peace be upon you.
03:02Ladies and gentlemen,
03:07Today, we are back together with My Quran Time, Quran Salat and Infah,
03:12for the re-study session for Surahs 191-192,
03:18which is related to Surah At-Tawbah.
03:21Today, for this re-study session,
03:23My Quran Time has invited a well-known scholar,
03:29Al-Fadhil Ustaz Ahmad Shamil bin Mat Isa.
03:34Ustaz, how are you?
03:35Peace be upon you.
03:38Where did you come from this morning?

03:59Alhamdulillah, Ustaz.
04:01We started with the recitation of the Quran,
04:04and now we are in the re-study session.
04:06The spirit of the people of Bangi.
04:07The spirit of the people of Bangi,
04:08together with our guest.
04:09Alhamdulillah.
04:10Alhamdulillah.
04:11Our spirit has increased at this time,
04:14together with our fellow students.
04:17Today, we are also very happy
04:19to welcome our guests,
04:21our friends from the Islamic Women's Foundation,
04:26SUBANG,
04:27who are also willing to
04:29entertain our discussion today.
04:31Inshallah.
04:32Welcome to the My Quran Time program.
04:36Hopefully, all of you who are here
04:38to entertain this re-study session,
04:40will be blessed by Allah SWT.
04:43So, to start this re-study session,
04:45let's start with our short prayer.
04:58At the beginning,
04:59Al-Fadhil Ustaz Darmidhi Abdur Rahman
05:01has read to us
05:03the first verse for our discussion this morning,
05:06which is the 28th verse
05:07from Surah At-Tawbah.
05:09In this verse,
05:10Allah said,
05:11O you who believe!
05:12Indeed, the polytheists are
05:15the filth of their souls.
05:18The word that Allah mentioned
05:19about the polytheists is
05:21the filth.
05:23The word filth,
05:24if we want to understand it
05:25in the context of this verse,
05:27what does the word filth mean?
05:30When Allah mentioned this statement,
05:32is there any law
05:34related to it
05:36that concerns us as Muslims
05:38if we do not accept them
05:40as a party
05:41that is different from us?
05:43How has Islam
05:45regulated our relationship with them
05:47based on the 28th verse?
05:49Please, Ustaz.
05:57Thank you, Ustaz Shamsul,
05:59Ustaz Tar,
06:00and all of you present.
06:03So, regarding this verse,
06:05we can see
06:06how Allah SWT
06:08as if
06:09in this rank,
06:10has given a decision.
06:13Because this happened
06:14after the Battle of Mecca.
06:16How has Islam
06:17reached a level
06:19of stability and strength?
06:20Finally, Islam declared war
06:22because at that time,
06:24the Muslims were able
06:26to make a clear decision.
06:29Then,
06:30Allah SWT
06:31has given a decision
06:32that the polytheists
06:34cannot even approach
06:36Masjid al-Haram
06:38at that time,
06:39after the Battle of Mecca.
06:42So, what is meant
06:43by Najis here?
06:44We understand that
06:45the scholars say
06:46Najis here
06:47is Najis Ma'anawi,
06:49which is Najis
06:50that is said to be infallible.
06:52So,
06:53the polytheists
06:54cannot even approach
06:55Masjid al-Haram
06:56because Masjid al-Haram
06:57is a holy mosque.
06:58So, they cannot
06:59even approach
07:00or enter the area
07:01of Masjid al-Haram.
07:03There is also a connection
07:04with other mosques.
07:05If we look at
07:06the view of Imam Shafi'i,
07:08he said that
07:09in other mosques,
07:10the non-believers
07:11can enter the mosque
07:12if it is necessary.
07:14For example,
07:15if it is necessary
07:16to see the worship
07:17of Muslims.
07:18That is one aspect
07:19of the Da'wah.
07:20But,
07:21if it is not necessary,
07:22it is not allowed.
07:23But,
07:24even if Masjid al-Haram
07:25is necessary
07:26or not,
07:27it is still not allowed
07:28to enter Masjid al-Haram
07:29because of the special
07:30dignity of the verse
07:31that Allah SWT
07:32mentioned
07:33in this story.
07:34Or,
07:35if we look at
07:36how Allah SWT
07:37in the connection
07:38of the verse,
07:39Allah SWT said,
07:40even if you fear
07:41the poor
07:42because they
07:43do not come
07:44in the Hajj season,
07:45Allah SWT
07:46will still
07:47bless you
07:48after this.
07:49So,
07:50that gives
07:51a new perspective
07:52to the Muslims
07:53that
07:54the power
07:55or the
07:56economic ability
07:57should not
07:58depend on
07:59people
08:00who associate
08:01with Allah.
08:02And there,
08:03Allah SWT
08:04will bless you
08:05in other ways.
08:06So,
08:07that is one point
08:08that I see
08:09that we can see
08:10that Najis
08:11is the Najis
08:12of disbelief.
08:13At the same time,
08:14it is not forbidden
08:15for other mosques
08:16to give
08:17a space
08:18if there is
08:19a need
08:20for them
08:21to visit
08:22and worship
08:23as it happens
08:24in Malaysia.
08:25But,
08:26at the same time,
08:27we cannot
08:28depend on
08:29their economic
08:30to survive
08:31in today's life.
08:32In today's context,
08:33it is said that
08:34if we are
08:35a Muslim community,
08:36we consider it
08:37as a place
08:38of worship.
08:39So,
08:40if we have
08:41places of worship
08:42that involve
08:43certain
08:44sacred places
08:45that need to be
08:46preserved,
08:47especially
08:48Masjid al-Haram
08:49and other
08:50mosques,
08:51it is as if
08:52this verse
08:53emphasizes
08:54that
08:55the priority
08:56is to
08:57uphold
08:58the law
08:59that we have
09:00seen
09:01from this 28th verse.
09:02That is,
09:03how Allah SWT
09:04has organized
09:05our lives
09:06in a good way.
09:07We understand
09:08that while we
09:09neglect
09:10the presence
09:11of our non-Muslim
09:12community,
09:13there are still
09:14laws that
09:15need to be
09:16preserved
09:17as we
09:18carry out
09:19our responsibilities
09:20as Allah SWT.
09:21The next verse,
09:22insyaAllah,
09:23we will see

09:25and the 31st

15:39We will start
15:40from the 30th
15:41and the 31st
15:42verse.
15:43We will start
15:44from the 30th
15:45and the 31st
15:47verse.
15:48A comes to
15:49mind
15:50and
15:51he
15:52will
15:58start
16:00from
16:01the 30th
16:05verse.
16:06We will
16:10start
16:11from the
16:1331st
16:14verse.
16:16from the Jews and Muslims, please.
16:19Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ala Rasulullah
16:22So when we look at these two verses
16:25we can see that
16:28how Islam has
16:31gathered the meaning of
16:34Aqidah and Shariah in one religion
16:37so when they
16:40the Jews, why they made
16:43their leaders as God
16:46Arbab means God's God
16:49So when they made
16:52their leaders as God
16:55then it seems like they have disassociated Allah
16:58indirectly. Why? Because God is not
17:01just a creator, God also rules
17:04and makes Shariah. So whoever gives
17:07a word of disassociation to the new Shariah
17:10from God, then he has disassociated
17:13other people. That's why here, in one hadith
17:16Prophet SAW one day
17:19met with Adi bin Hatim. On the side of Adi bin Hatim
17:22there was a chain from the cross. Rasulullah SAW read this verse
17:25then Adi bin Hatim said, they did not make
17:28the leaders as God. But Rasulullah SAW said
17:31didn't they make what was made lawful by their leaders
17:34and forbid what was forbidden by their leaders
17:37then that is their worship to their leaders
17:40So here, Islam has given a new
17:43picture to religion. That is, religion is
17:46a complete package to
17:49obedience and obedience. Not just worshiping
17:52whoever is God, but following Shariah
17:55that is also part of the religion itself
17:58So in the context, we see how
18:01we want to make sure our scholars today
18:04are different from their priesthood
18:07or their previous religions
18:10So there are a few things there. First
18:13no matter how the scholars are, they still cannot
18:16go against the principles
18:19the basic principles in this religion, namely faith
18:22the principles of Islam, the principles of faith and the like
18:25So no matter what, they still cannot
18:28bring things that deviate from the principles. And these principles are known by all Muslims
18:31We have the principles of Islam, we have the principles of faith
18:34we have the principles of religion that cannot be violated by anyone, no matter how the scholars are
18:37Secondly, we have ways
18:40to punish the scholars, namely the other scholars
18:43So here there is
18:46a culture
18:49that is healthy in this religion
18:52where the scholars
18:55punish each other
18:58So when we say scholars, as long as they are scholars, they are not guilty
19:01But scholars can be
19:04judged
19:07by other scholars
19:10as long as they meet the conditions of Ishtihar or the conditions of
19:13Fatwa and the like. So there, with the existence
19:16of these groups, then the religion will be maintained
19:19When the religion is maintained, then the Muslims
19:22will always remain in the correct and right path
19:26If we look at the context of verse 31
19:29we can see that
19:32it is not just that someone is said to lift up another God
19:35by performing a physical worship
19:38but by giving the right to establish the Shariah
19:41to another person, it can also make him lift up another God
19:44Yes, that's right
19:47So this is how beautiful Islam is, how the concept of God
19:50and the true knowledge encompasses the faith and the Shariah
19:53Now let's look at the next discussion
19:56from verse 32
20:11Alhamdulillah, we enter into the next verse
20:14page 192
20:17verse 32
20:20Alhamdulillah, we continue to study
20:23As mentioned at the beginning of the day
20:26the Surah Al-Taubah is shared with us
20:29The Surah that is not mentioned is Bismillah
20:32So don't say, I don't feel it is complete
20:35He himself wants to complete it, he says it is not good
20:38So remember
20:41if it is in the middle of a verse or in the middle of a Surah
20:44there is a difference whether you can read it or not
20:48So let's try verse 32
20:51with Taranum Nahawan
21:17Surah Al-Taubah
21:47Surah Al-Taubah
21:50Surah Al-Taubah
22:17Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
22:47Allah SWT gives a picture
22:50they always spread
22:53spread slander to the religions
22:56Allah SWT
22:59Allah SWT gives a picture
23:02they always give a bad picture
23:05to the religion of Islam
23:08to the Prophet Muhammad SAW
23:11hiding the religion of Allah SWT
23:14to extinguish the light of Allah SWT
23:17the light of Allah is emerging
23:20but they try to extinguish it
23:23try to hide all the signs of the Prophet Muhammad SAW
23:26that is clear in the Torah and in the Bible
23:29and that is what they do
23:32with all forms of spreading slander
23:35slander to the religion of Islam
23:38and to the Prophet Muhammad SAW
23:41we see people who hate the religion of Islam
23:44they always spread slander
23:47to deny the truth of Islam
23:50if we want to act against it
23:53do we need to return
23:56what they said with our Dawah
23:59to enlighten Islam
24:02that is how Allah SWT
24:05perfects His light
24:08to guide the believers
24:11to carry out the Dawah of Allah SWT
24:14and to listen to the clear Hujjah
24:17to the religion of Islam
24:20if they use
24:23campaigns to destroy the religion of Islam
24:26Islam also needs to use Dawah and Hujjah campaigns
24:29if they use systems to prevent people from Islam
24:32we also need to use systems
24:35to listen to our ideas and our Dawah
24:38Hopefully, the Quran Time is also one of the
24:41speeches that lift
24:44the light of Allah SWT
24:47to the audience
24:50to spread what Allah has shared
24:53so that we can all
24:56enlighten the light of Allah on this earth
24:59continue with our discussion in Quran Time
25:02We will return after this
25:32We will return after this
26:02We will return after this
26:05We will return after this
26:08We will return after this
26:11We will return after this
26:14We will return after this
26:17We will return after this
26:20We will return after this
26:23We will return after this
26:26We will return after this
26:29We will return after this
26:32We will return after this
27:00If we meet a boy
27:03we ask him, where are you from?
27:06I'm from there. Where's your mother?
27:09I don't have a mother. Father?
27:12I don't have a father either. Is your father a tempter?
27:15No. I was born in this world.
27:18This child must have a father
27:21a mother who gave birth to him
27:24If he suddenly appears, no one can accept him
27:27If he suddenly appears, no one can accept him
27:30There is no narrative
27:33If he suddenly appears, no one can accept him
27:57He is the one who sent his messenger with guidance and the religion of truth
28:17He is the one who sent his messenger with guidance and the religion of truth
28:28to make him prevail over all other religions
28:40to make him prevail over all other religions
28:47even though the polytheists hate him
28:59even though the polytheists hate him
29:11Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
29:21He is the one who sent his messenger with guidance and the religion of truth
29:24to make him prevail over all other religions
29:27even though the polytheists hate him
29:30This is the translation for the 33rd verse
29:33This is the translation for the 33rd verse
29:36From the 32nd verse, one of the ways Allah perfected his light
29:43was by sending a messenger to preach to the people
29:48so that the light of Allah can be seen clearly by the people
29:52But what we want to see from the 33rd verse
29:57At the end of the 33rd verse,
30:00if we look at what has been repeated twice by Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tarnidhi Amtul Rahman
30:07with the song Hijaz
30:14At the end of the verse, Allah says,
30:16even though the polytheists hate him
30:19If we look at the closing of the previous verse,
30:23the 32nd verse,
30:24Allah says,
30:25even though the polytheists hate him
30:27Why in the first verse, Allah says,
30:29even though the polytheists hate him,
30:30but in the second verse, Allah says,
30:32even though the polytheists are polytheists
30:34What is the significance of the difference between these two words
30:37and does it give additional meaning from the translations we have seen?
30:45If we look at the 32nd verse,
30:47where Allah says,
30:49even though the polytheists hate him
30:51We see that the context of the verse is a continuation of the 31st verse
30:58where Allah says,
31:00even though the polytheists hate him
31:03Allah says,
31:04even though the polytheists hate him
31:06Even though Allah says,
31:08even though the polytheists hate him
31:12The word kafir in Arabic means to cover
31:16Allah describes the polytheists as the Jews and the Christians
31:20They cover the truth because they know the truth
31:24So, kafirun, we can see in this context,
31:27shows the Jews and the Christians
31:30There is also the 33rd verse,
31:32he is the one who sent the Prophet,
31:34his Messenger,
31:35with light,
31:36guidance,
31:37and also the right religion
31:38to overcome all other religions
31:41even though it is not described by Mushrikun
31:43Mushrikun, we can see in the context of this verse,
31:46we see that Allah's prayer is shown to Mushrikun Quraish
31:49i.e. the polytheists, the Arab Mushrikun
31:51because they worship a lot of gods
31:54other than Allah SWT
31:56even though they inherited the religion of Ibrahim
31:59but they added a lot of statues
32:02So, they worship Allah SWT clearly
32:05So, the two different context of the verse
32:07leads to two different groups
32:09even though both are referred to as the polytheists
32:13and they are also Mushrikun
32:15indirectly
32:16i.e. the Jews and the Christians are also Mushrikun
32:18because they do not worship Allah SWT
32:24So, in this context, we see that Allah SWT
32:27when choosing the right verse
32:29in the right context
32:30for us to give
32:32or for us to get an image
32:34a clear image
32:35who is it?
32:36How did the Quran come down
32:38to one specific place
32:40for us to understand the specific images
32:42what is chosen by Allah SWT
32:44in the existing context
32:46So, if we look at these two verses
32:49to understand how Ustaz Shamil understands
32:52we do not have to look at the translation
32:54we have to look at the context of the verse
32:57how it is mentioned
32:58for whom
32:59to whom is it directed
33:01and what is the discussion contained in it
33:04this is what Ustaz Shamil tried to explain just now
33:07even though if we say
33:08both are the same
33:09the polytheists are the polytheists
33:10but in the context of the verse
33:12Allah will not choose the word
33:14that is mentioned in the verse
33:16or in the context
33:17but it is in accordance
33:18with the group
33:19that is intended to be discussed
33:21So, we want to see
33:22the next discussion
33:23from the 34th verse
33:25Sater Midi as usual
33:27continue the task
33:28InsyaAllah
33:29Please Ustaz
33:30Alhamdulillah
33:31Thank you Ustaz Shamsul
33:32Ustaz Shamil
33:36We want to read the next verse
33:38which is the 34th verse
33:40we have heard and read together
33:42just now
33:43using Taranum Ros
33:45Taranum Nahawan
33:46Hijaz
33:47and we have been
33:48what?
33:49wrapped up
33:50as usual wrapping up
33:51in the middle of the day
33:53we have been wrapped up
33:54with the understanding
33:55or the explanation
33:56of both Ustaz Shamil and Ustaz Shamsul
33:59Now, it is time for us to read
34:01the 34th verse
34:03I want to ask from
34:05LKPIM Changan Subang Jaya
34:07the next Taranum
34:09please press play
34:11what is the song?
34:12what is the Taranum?
34:13try it
34:15is it Sikah?
34:16can we try Sikah?
34:17try to say it together
34:18Sikah
34:19one more time
34:20Sikah
34:21oh, when you say it
34:22it sounds like Sikah
34:23if it does not sound like Sikah
34:24is it correct?
34:25yes, it is correct
34:26let us try
34:27Taranum Sikah
34:41Taranum Sikah
35:11Taranum Sikah
35:41and they spend it in the way of Allah
35:47so give them good tidings
35:50of a painful punishment
35:56Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
36:03dear believers
36:05many of the scholars
36:07and their monks
36:09have eaten other people's property
36:11in the wrong way
36:12and they prevent people
36:13from the way of Allah
36:14subhanahu wa ta'ala
36:16in the 31st verse
36:17we see
36:18how the wrongdoings
36:19of the side
36:20together with
36:21the scholars
36:22and the monks
36:23that is
36:24they raise the monks
36:26as gods
36:27other than Allah
36:29and in the 34th verse
36:30Allah Himself
36:31states about the wrongdoings
36:32of the monks
36:33and the scholars
36:35one of Allah's statements
36:36about their wrongdoings
36:38is that
36:39they eat other people's property
36:40in the wrong way
36:41so what is meant
36:43by the scholars
36:45and the monks
36:46they eat other people's property
36:48in the wrong way
36:49and what is the lesson
36:50for us
36:51from the side
36:52of the believers
36:53because this verse
36:54as if Allah
36:55has pointed to us
36:56other than the public
36:58that that is the wrongdoings
37:00of the scholars
37:01and the monks
37:02please Ustaz
37:03bismillahirrahmanirrahim
37:05so when Allah Almighty
37:07gives us a picture
37:09that they eat
37:11other people's property
37:13in the wrong way
37:14what do they do
37:15they collect
37:16other people's money
37:17in the name of the church
37:19in the name of
37:20their places of worship
37:22for their religion
37:24for example
37:25so what happens
37:27they collect money
37:28for them
37:29the money is for them
37:30but not for
37:31the people
37:32or for the religion
37:33that is mentioned
37:34second
37:35they are also
37:36known as
37:37people who
37:38take bribe
37:39what is this bribe
37:40bribe is to
37:41ask for
37:42fatwa
37:43halal
37:44this is important
37:46fatwa
37:47to halal
37:48the deeds
37:49of the people
37:50of Israel
37:51so
37:52they say
37:53the original law
37:54when they meet
37:55their priest
37:56they say
37:57this is haram
37:58can you adjust
37:59it to halal
38:00they adjust
38:01it can be halal
38:02but you have to
38:03think about it
38:04there is a
38:05priest
38:06he is also
38:07looking for
38:08a way
38:09oh it can be
38:10halal
38:11so that is
38:12what is meant
38:13the priest
38:14mentioned
38:15two reasons
38:16how they
38:17consume
38:18people's
38:19property
38:20with this
38:21bribe
