00:00MTR-CB released the age-appropriate ratings for the movies that will be screened on the big screen this week.
00:10The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, or MTR-CB, officially released the age-appropriate ratings
00:17for the movies that will be screened in cinemas this week.
00:22The local film, Seven Days, received the first parental guidance ratings from the review committee.
00:28The movie, Survive, received the same guidance.
00:31MTR-CB Chair Lala Soto-Anzonio reminded parents and supervising adults that PG-rated movies
00:40may contain themes, languages, and cultures that are not suitable for children to watch.
00:48Meanwhile, R-13 received the Rating for Speak No Evil and Hellboy The Crooked Man
00:54that contains horror and frightening scenes that are prohibited for children below 13 years old.
01:02The horror movie, Strange Darling, received the R-16 Rating
01:07because of the non-graphic depiction of sexual activity and the use of drugs.
01:14MTR-CB Chair Lala Soto-Anzonio also emphasized that the ratings were created by the board
01:19for specific age groups and urged the public to be responsible in watching.
