00:00So, let's talk about some of the buys here.
00:05Let's talk about Marvin Harrison.
00:06His name has been in the news, some quarterback comments, but Joe, you feel this is a perfect
00:10time to buy low on Marvin Harrison.
00:13Yeah, look, the target share wasn't there.
00:17He got open sometimes and Murray didn't find him.
00:19It's going to take a little while.
00:20Okay, fine.
00:21I think the reason why you can buy low on him is because he's an unknown entity.
00:25So he's a player that people like myself have hyped up in the marketplace, right?
00:29Because a lot of people, you know, that still, you know, don't watch college football, but
00:33love fantasy football and love NFL.
00:35So they're saying, well, who's this Marvin Harrison guy?
00:38Now I'm stuck with him on my team.
00:39He's not going to be any good.
00:40He's going to be fine.
00:41Okay.
00:42Like I'm not worried about him at all.
00:44I think what you're looking for is a little bit more of we're coming back and we're game
00:49planning on ways to get him to touch the football, making sure that he is involved in this game
00:54plan a little bit better.
00:55And I think that things just went off script a little bit, whatever was there.
00:58He took it last week and Kyler Murray took a lot of Greg Dorch and, you know, made him
01:02a rock star for week one.
01:04But I don't think that's what you're going to see every single week.
01:05The organization spent a fourth overall pick on Marvin Harrison Jr.
01:12The organization is going to make sure that Marvin Harrison Jr. is involved.
01:16And I think it's only a matter of time.
01:18So the problem is like, this could be your window.
01:20It could shut in week two.
01:21It could happen that fast.
01:22Now it might not.
01:24Maybe week two is just better.
01:25It's just a market improvement and things kind of go along.
01:28But there's an opportunity here where Marvin Harrison Jr. just kind of shuts that window
01:33all together this week.
01:34So this might be your window to prime away where people are just feeling uneasy depending
01:38on what their roster looks like.
01:39It's like, man, this guy didn't really deliver.
01:41He's an unknown entity.
01:42And I think that's what goes against some players.
01:45Sometimes, you know, trade pieces, as we'll talk about in a moment, sometimes it's great
01:49when they have name brand value because you could sell them off the history of the player.
01:53But other times, it's really difficult.
01:55Player has no track record like Marvin Harrison in the NFL.
01:58So Marvin Harrison becomes an interesting buy low because there is concern in the marketplace
02:03for people who have him, who don't really understand or aren't as patient with him.
02:08So Harrison, to me, is that number one guy on that board that I'd be buying.
02:12All right.
02:13Joe, as a fantasy manager, personally, I enjoy being a part of a team that has a wide range
02:19of offense, but kind of like that old West Coast offense, a team that can really throw
02:24it and air it out there.
02:25Jacksonville is that team.
02:27Is Brian Thomas Jr. that guy on the receiving end?
02:32You know, I think this is a really interesting game here for him.
02:35Last week, he had four catches on four targets, 47 yards and a touchdown, right?
02:39There was more in there, too.
02:40You saw some moments there where it could have even been better potentially for Brian
02:46Thomas Jr.
02:47He's got a tough matchup against Cleveland this week.
02:49He's got some tough matchups coming up there, Buffalo and Houston, right?
02:53Those are some good defenses.
02:55But I'm trying to look ahead and project here.
02:57And if we're getting off to a good start here with Brian Thomas Jr., Christian Kirk is a
03:02nice wide receiver, but Christian Kirk isn't really an alpha.
03:05I think the reason why we don't really see Brian Thomas Jr. in the same light is because
03:09he played in college with Malik Neighbors, who got all the attention and all the hype.
03:13But if you think about it, Brian Thomas Jr. was pretty damn good, too.
03:17And now if you make him the number one target guy in this offense for Trevor Lawrence, good
03:22things can happen.
03:23Right now, if you're sitting there with Puka Nakua on your roster, who's going on the IR,
03:28who's going to be out for six weeks potentially, and you can get Brian Thomas Jr. for Puka
03:33Nakua, I would make that trade.
03:34I would make that trade because I think there's an opportunity for Thomas to grow into that
03:37role.
03:38I'm not saying he's going to be able to do what Puka did last year, but do you really
03:41want to wait six weeks for Puka Nakua to come back hopefully healthy?
03:45And do you want to have that big gaping hole at your wide receiver spot?
03:48Or do you want to take a guy like Brian Thomas, who I think people might not realize the asset
03:52they have.
03:53A lot of people might have just drafted him because of where he was in ADP, saw that good
03:56first week and thought, okay, maybe pretty good.
03:59But you dangle a big name like Puka Nakua, who's on the IR, people get very excited about
04:04getting that big time star.
04:05And Brian Thomas, again, like Marvin Harrison, a rookie, a bit of an unknown entity.
04:09So I think that works in your favor if you're trying to make a deal for one of these guys.
04:13So Brian Thomas, I think, has upside this week.
04:16We'll talk in hour two about some of his props that I think I like the over on this week
04:20too.
04:21But there's definitely a spot here where Brian Thomas can continue to grow into this role
04:24and could be the number one in this offense by the time we get to, say, Halloween.
