00:00Splish, splash, splosh. It had been raining and pouring on the island of Sodor.
00:09The engines were splattered and sploshed with mud.
00:13Thomas liked the rain. It splish-splashed on his boiler and pitter-patted on his paintwork.
00:21Thomas and Rosie had biffed and bashed all day at the shunting yard.
00:28Now it was time to go.
00:31Come on, Rosie. I'll race you to Tidmouth Sheds.
00:38The two friends puffed along the tracks, straight through a very big puddle.
00:44Thomas and Rosie were splashed from footplate to fender in muddy rainwater.
00:50That was fun!
00:54Then an idea flew into Thomas' funnel.
00:58Thomas reversed slowly. Then he pumped his pistons.
01:04Here I come, Rosie! Splish, splash, splosh!
01:08That's a good game! Here I come, Thomas!
01:14Splish, splash, splosh!
01:17Splish, splash, splosh!
01:21Muddy water splattered everywhere.
01:25Then the Fat Controller arrived. He had some important news.
01:30Alicia Botty is to sing at a concert in the town hall.
01:34The concert will be followed by a grand tea.
01:38That's exciting!
01:40What fun!
01:42Thomas, you must go straight to the washdown.
01:45Then you are to collect Miss Botty and myself from Dryore Station.
01:49We will be waiting for you.
01:51Yes, sir.
01:52Rosie, you must collect Annie and Clarabel and take them to Dryore for Thomas.
01:58Yes, sir. Right away, sir.
02:02See you later, Rosie.
02:04And Thomas and Rosie chuffed quickly away.
02:08Thomas pulled up at the junction to the washdown.
02:11He saw a very big puddle on the other track.
02:15Charlie was waiting right by it. He was very muddy.
02:20Splashing Rosie was such good fun.
02:23I'm sure Charlie would like my game too.
02:26And I'm sure I have time for another puddle before the washdown.
02:30So Thomas didn't take the track to the washdown.
02:34He took the track through the middle of the very big puddle.
02:38Here I come, Charlie! Splish, splash, splash!
02:41Ha-ha-ha! Bust my buffers! That's a good game!
02:46Thomas huffed happily on.
02:49Hooray! This is fun!
02:52Now Thomas wanted to find more puddles.
02:55He couldn't wait to play his game with the other engines.
02:59At the next junction, Thomas waited to chuff left to the washdown.
03:04Then he saw a very big puddle on the right track.
03:08Emily was waiting.
03:11Emily's muddy already. I'm sure she'd like my game.
03:15And I'm sure I have time for another puddle before the washdown.
03:19Here I come, Emily! Splish, splash, splash!
03:24Ha-ha-ha!
03:26Muddy rainwater had splooshed all over Emily.
03:31And all over Emily's flour trucks.
03:35Fizzling fireboxes!
03:38I have to take this flour to the bakery to make the cakes for Alicia Botti's tea.
03:43Now Thomas has ruined it!
03:46Thomas didn't know he had splashed Emily's flour trucks.
03:51This is fun! Splish, splash, splash!
03:55I'll soon need a wash! Ha-ha-ha!
03:58And Thomas chuffed on, chuckling.
04:02At the next junction, Thomas waited to chuff to the washdown.
04:07Then he saw a very big puddle right beside James.
04:13James is muddy already. I'm sure he'd like my game.
04:17And I'm sure I have time for just one more puddle before the washdown.
04:21Here I come, James! Splish, splash, splash!
04:26And Thomas steamed away, laughing.
04:30Muddy rainwater had splooshed all over James.
04:34And all over the ripe strawberries on his flatbed.
04:38Blistering boilers!
04:41These strawberries were for Alicia Botti's cakes.
04:44Now they're ruined!
04:47Thomas didn't know he had splashed James' strawberries.
04:52This is fun! Splish, splash, splash!
04:55I'll soon need a wash!
04:57And Thomas puffed on, happily.
05:00Thomas chuffed up to the next junction.
05:04Now it was getting late.
05:06I know there'll be a very big puddle along the track by the river.
05:10I'm sure I have time for one last puddle before the washdown.
05:14So Thomas took the left track that went along the river.
05:18Ahead of him, there was a very big puddle.
05:22My! This is the biggest puddle ever!
05:26Here I come! Splish, splash, splash!
05:31Then there was trouble.
05:33Muddy water flew high into the air and splooshed down
05:38all over Alicia Botti and the Fat Controller.
05:42Thomas!
05:44Thomas screeched to a stop and reversed slowly.
05:49He saw that he had splish, splash, sploshed Alicia Botti and the Fat Controller.
05:56Cinders and ashes!
05:59Look what you've done to Miss Botti! She's soaked!
06:03Also, Thomas, I hear from the dairy manager
06:07that you ruined the flour and strawberries for Miss Botti's grand tea.
06:12This is a disaster!
06:15Thomas felt terrible.
06:18He tried to puff forward, but he couldn't.
06:22Oh, no!
06:24The big puddle had put out his firebox.
06:28This game isn't fun anymore. It's all gone wrong.
06:33Then Thomas heard Rosie's whistle.
06:37Rosie, please help me. I've splish, splash, sploshed into trouble.
06:42Oh, dear, Thomas. Of course I will. Don't worry.
06:49Rosie heaved and huffed Thomas onto dry tracks.
06:57With my dry coal, Thomas, your boiler will soon be bubbling.
07:02Thank you, Rosie.
07:04Now I can't go to collect the Fat Controller and Alicia Botti.
07:08Would you take my special for me?
07:10Of course I will. I'll go right away.
07:15Later, Thomas was once more steaming happily.
07:19He pulled up at a junction.
07:21There was a very big puddle on the right track.
07:25Look at that big puddle. It's perfect for splish, splash, sploshing.
07:31No, I'm not going to splish, splash, splosh anymore.
07:36I must make sure that Alicia Botti's grand tea is on time.
07:40And Thomas puffed along the left track to the bakery and away from the big puddle.
07:47Thomas arrived just as James and Emily had delivered fresh strawberries and flour to the bakery.
07:54Your silly game means we'll be late for the concert.
07:58No, you won't. I'll wait here for the cakes, then I'll deliver them.
08:02You can go to the washdown, then you'll both be clean for the concert.
08:06Thank you, Thomas.
08:08Now I'll be shiny and best and gleam more than the rest.
08:14Thomas puffed in with the fresh strawberry cakes for the grand tea.
08:20You're just in time, Thomas.
08:23Thank you, sir. I'm sorry I caused confusion and delay.
08:27Rosie puffed up to Thomas.
08:30I found another puddle. It's perfect for our game. We can play again.
08:35No, thank you, Rosie. I think I've done enough splish, splash, sploshing for one day.
