00:00A nationwide bloodletting drive was held today for the employees of Pamalaan.

00:06This was accompanied by the inauguration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary

00:29That's why the government employees are one of the nationwide bloodletting drive

00:35from 200 government agencies.

00:37Of course, it's to help those in need of blood.

00:55500 blood donation venues in NCR are registered

00:59including the CSC Central Office

01:01and Department of Environment and Natural Resources Environmental Management Bureau Building in Quezon City.

01:07It's also open for walk-ins in the Central Office Venue of CSC

01:11so blood donors can still be added.

01:14The bloodletting program will be held at all CSC Regional Offices

01:20from 8 am to 5 pm.

01:23There's a theme of bloodletting activity in the back of the town.

01:28CSC is sponsored by the Department of Health Philippine Blood Center

01:31and Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium.

01:35This is the time that we take care of each other

01:38by giving blood, by donating blood

01:41so we will be able to look after one another.

01:46It's the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary month

01:49and we are here for each other.

01:51Your CSC, together with all other regional offices and central office

01:56and the commission as well, chaired by Chair Carlo Nograles

01:59and Commissioner Ryan Acosta.

02:01This is our way of sharing or making ourselves responsible

02:07for the lives of our mga kapabayan.

02:10CSC recommends to those who have already donated

02:13to ensure that there is enough sleep before blood donations,

02:16to eat nutritious food, especially iron-rich foods

02:19and to drink plenty of water.

02:21It is prohibited for those who have a disease to donate

02:24to get a tattoo or piercing within 6 months

02:27due to a dental procedure

02:30and does not meet the standard hemoglobin level.
