00:00A man pretended to be a daredevil in order to steal Punteriang Apartments in Rizal.

00:05The victim's house was seized because he delivered parcels here several times.

00:12Vel Custodio has the report.

00:17We can see in the CCTV footage that this man seemed to be drunk.

00:22He was at the light post next to an apartment in Barangay Manggahan, Rodriguez, Rizal on the morning of this Tuesday.

00:30He stormed into the terrace of the apartment.

00:33He slowly walked and peeked through the window.

00:37Later, he entered the door to steal the apartment.

00:41A few minutes later, he quickly escaped through the CCTV.

00:47He went down to the same post.

00:49When he was able to go down, he casually walked away.

00:53The suspect found out that he was a delivery rider in the area.

00:57He also delivered parcels to the victim several times.

01:00The motive of this is because he was a delivery rider.

01:03While he was delivering his parcels, he was also looking for a possible victim.

01:10Alias Dexter was not content with the theft of the apartment.

01:15He even tried to rape the female victim.

01:18The victim was given a wallet containing cash worth P2,500 and IDs.

01:24A complainant approached us to complain.

01:31We immediately responded.

01:34When we arrived, there were already police there.

01:37The suspect left his T-shirt in the apartment.

01:40He even tried to return it.

01:42That's why he was cornered here.

01:44But the thieves did not return the suspect's T-shirt.

01:47The only thing we were able to recover against him was his T-shirt that was left in the apartment.

01:54But the suspect mentioned that he left his T-shirt.

01:58He said that he dropped it this afternoon.

02:01Where did he drop it?

02:03On the road in front of his house.

02:05Did he drop it inside?

02:07Yes.

02:08I asked him if he dropped it on the road in front of his house because the road is white.

02:14He said it's dirty.

02:16It's clean.

02:18The T-shirt is clean.

02:20The complainant has an excuse as to why he left his T-shirt at home.

02:24He said that he was in another place when the crime happened.

02:27I saw it on CCTV, ma'am.

02:29I went there, ma'am.

02:30I only see him when he has parcels.

02:33When he doesn't have parcels, I just pass by his house.

02:38The suspect will face a complaint of robbery.

02:41Make sure that if you are going to sleep,

02:44the inspection should be thorough and make sure that your house is locked.

02:51So that we will not become victims of this crime.
