00:05that have a huge impact on the future of the business, public service, and entertainment industry.

00:11And to know more details about that, we will now meet the founder and chairman of Asia's Pinnacle Awards,

00:19Dr. Ronel Ibáñez. Good morning and welcome back to Rise and Shine Philippines.

00:23Good morning to you and good morning to our viewers this morning.

00:29Alright, Dr. Ronel Ibáñez.

00:34Yes, I mentioned that you are introducing individual and organization achievers.

00:40Aside from this, can you give us some more details about Asia's Pinnacle Awards and what are its objectives?

00:47Okay. Asia's Pinnacle Awards are organized by individuals

00:54with a goal to address our advocacies such as to recognize outstanding individuals

01:04who made a remarkable impact in our society.

01:08Number two, we wanted to put value to our less privileged Filipino countrymen

01:13by giving medical equipment and supplies to public hospitals.

01:18And number three, we wanted to create a platform wherein global influential leaders

01:24will meet in one room for business expansions and for future project collaborations.

01:30So, Doc, this has proceeds?

01:31That's right.

01:32How do you choose the awards you are giving? What are the criteria and nomination?

01:41We have through nominations. We look at it through criteria like for example the services.

01:49This is what we look at, the services, the leadership, the involvement, industry involvement

01:55and what we call the CSR that our awardee is doing.

02:02You mentioned your criteria when it comes to nominations and you also have executive counsel.

02:09Who are your colleagues here and what are their roles?

02:13The executive counsel is the one who decides and approves our nominations.

02:22And with our executive counsel, we have former Senator Gringo Hunasan,

02:29we have Congresswoman Marisa Delmar Magsino,

02:32we also have the National President of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry,

02:37Consul Yonina Mangyo, and then we also have the President of Employers Confederation of the Philippines,

02:44Dr. Sirio Ortiz Luis, Jr.

02:47And we also have the Director General of Philippine Economic Zone Authority, OPESA,

02:54Director General Tereso Panga.

02:56And the last but not the least, executive counsel,

03:00we have one of the board members of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce,

03:08we have Mr. George Chua.

03:10And we also have here our National Advisor, TESDA Deputy Director General Vidal Villanueva III

03:17and our International Ambassador, Ms. Owen S. Pace Sanchez.

03:25So, we are the ones who screen and build the award-giving body.

03:33We can see that the members of the executive counsel are well-rounded from different fields in the industry.

03:41Well, you mentioned earlier that the proceeds will go to a foundation.

03:45May we know what foundation is this?

03:47Well, actually, we support the channel-to-channel foundation,

03:52but we have also a lot of beneficiaries, such as last June 29,

03:57we donated around 201 or 211 items, medical equipment and supplies to East Avenue Medical Hospital.

04:09And then last March 12, we also donated medical equipment to Philippine General Hospital.

04:16And this coming Saturday, we will be going to Mindoro for the Mangyan community

04:23where we will be giving out items there.

04:26And this coming September 21, we will again give medical equipment and supplies to Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas.

04:34We can also see in the videos on our VTR, the well-known personalities, your awardees.
