00:15The Soft Tennis Pilipinas made history at the 17th World Soft Tennis Championships after the bronze medal was awarded at the team event of Soft Tennis Pilipinas held in Ancheong, South Korea.

00:28The team entered the semi-finals where they were able to beat the powerhouses of China, India, and Thailand.

00:37The men's team consisted of six players including Joseph Arcelia, Deyo Talatayud, Patrick Mendoza, Adyutor Moralde, Samuel Nugget, and Sherwin Nugget.

00:50I'm so happy because this is my first time and we really worked hard.

00:57It's worth it, all the hard work of our training.

01:01We've been preparing for this for a long time.

01:04I'm so happy. I can't believe that we won the bronze medal.

01:10Sherwin played a big role in using the country's money for the prestigious tournament.

01:16Although he was only able to play for the first time in the World Championships, the 17-year-old netter did not give up, especially in his come from behind win in the round of 32 against China.

01:29I didn't think about it because I was already down.
