00:00Today, school and work in some provinces in Cordillera Administrative Region were suspended

00:08due to the heavy rainfall caused by the typhoon Enteng.

00:11Residents who live in the area are being evacuated.

00:23Due to the heavy rainfall in Cordillera Region today,

00:29school and work in some provinces in Cordillera Administrative Region were suspended.

00:33In Baguio City and the whole of Benguet, no entry from preschool to senior high school.

00:38All entrances to Apayaw, Abra, and Buntok Mountain Provinces were also cancelled.

00:43The Cordillera PDRRMC Operations Center is also in a red alert status

00:48to quickly respond to incidents caused by the typhoon.

00:53Next, the Office of Civil Defense is ordering all Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils

00:59from the province to the barangays to monitor and be alert.

01:04There is a new threat in our region.

01:08The typhoon Enteng is expected to cause a possible disaster in our country.

01:13I request the cooperation of everyone

01:18and that we look at each and every citizen.

01:22We must be prepared and take the right action to avoid the effects of the typhoon.

01:28Safety comes first and we must follow the orders of our government.

01:33Be alert and evacuate if necessary.

01:37The Disaster Quick Response Teams of the DSWD are also in a red alert status

01:41to provide food and non-food resources as a response augmentation to the LGUs if necessary.

01:49More than 7,000 family food packs have been prepositioned in various provinces in Cordillera.

01:55Because of the landslide, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau and the local government

02:01have again ordered the temporary shutdown of small-scale mining activities in the entire town.

02:07Residents who live in dangerous areas are also being told to evacuate if necessary.

02:14The members of the MDMM Kapulisan and BGNP were ordered this morning to leave

02:25to inform or remind the small-scale miners.

02:28Even the Benguet Electric Co-operative is now in a blue alert status

02:32to respond to the loss of electricity supply.

02:36Since last night, several places in Baguio City and Benguet have lost electricity

02:41because of their collapsed and damaged facilities.

02:44Meanwhile, the Public Order and Safety Division of the Cleanup Drive in the Central Business District

02:50was on duty this morning to avoid flooding in the canals.
