00:00Six people were killed while one person was missing in Antipolo City due to heavy rain and typhoons.

00:05Because of the continuous pouring of rain, the water level in some barangays quickly rose.

00:16Some parts of Antipolo, Rizal are already flooded due to the heavy rain and typhoons in the Philippines.

00:22Six people were sick and one person is missing

00:25according to Antipolo City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office Chief, Rely Bernardo.

00:30Due to landslide, here in Sitio Hinapao, which is a landslide-prone area,

00:36actually, these families, ma'am, they are informal settlers.

00:42Bernardo added that they have been evacuating people from that area for a long time

00:45but they still don't want to listen to the government.

00:48But even if their heads are hard,

00:50the administration continues to help them so that this kind of accident won't happen again.

00:55According to Bernardo, one more person is missing due to the landslide in Barangay Santa Cruz.

01:01They are still on the lookout and the search and rescue operations are ongoing.

01:06As of now, we have 11 activated, covering 6 barangays, 184 families.

01:15It's 697 persons or individuals.

01:22At the moment, Antipolo City RRMO is still waiting for the updates of the barangays.

01:27Meanwhile, within two hours,

01:29the water level in the Sumulong Highway in Barangay Mayamot has reached its peak.

01:34In 1972, 63-year-old father Arturo Ognilla was living here.

01:40He is already sorry for their situation.

01:42They used a siding to build this.

01:52They didn't dig it.

01:56That's why the creek is flowing.

01:58The city should understand this.

02:05Arturo added that he is sorry for the situation of the residents in their area

02:09because the water level is high but the digging is slow.

02:13Antipolo LGU is still monitoring their area.

02:17Antipolo City RRMO is calling for attention to the incidents

02:21and to follow the safety advisories.
