00:00Some countries have condemned China's new harassment of the Philippine Navy in the West Philippine Sea.
00:07They are calling on China to stop being aggressive.

00:20After China's recent harassment of the Philippines,
00:23some countries and the National Maritime Council have condemned
00:27the dangerous action of increasing tensions in the West Philippine Sea.
00:31According to the National Maritime Council,
00:33the Philippines will continue to use its diplomatic channels and mechanisms
00:37under the Rules-Based International Order.
00:40The BRP Teresa Magbanua's operation in the West Philippine Sea will continue
00:45and our sovereignty in its maritime zones will continue to be violated.
00:49The NMC also condemned that the Philippines will not be defeated
00:53in the harassment and aggressive actions of China in the said region.
00:57The U.S. Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller called
01:01that China's action was a provocative action.
01:04In addition, they condemned their alliance with the Philippines
01:08in the face of China's inappropriate negotiations,
01:11while calling on China to stop being aggressive.
01:16They say that the United States will continue to protect freedom of navigation
01:21and that the Mutual Defense Treaty between the U.S. and the Philippines
01:25will be revoked if any attacks on the Philippines are repeated.
01:29Taiwan also condemned China's violation of international law.
01:34According to the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
01:37China's continued neglect of the Rules-Based Order
01:40is only causing regional instability.
01:43They say that the Philippines or any other country should not be affected by China's actions.
01:48Japanese Ambassador Endo Kazuya is very concerned
01:52about the latest incident involving the Philippine ships in China.
01:56He said that it is important to have a peaceful dialogue
01:59in resolving the consequences of international law.
02:03The Philippines is also supported by Australia,
02:06where it said that China's actions were unacceptable
02:09and affected the peace and stability of the region.
02:13As the situation in the West Philippine Sea continues to worsen
